  1. ===Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this, I'm a bit of a forum noob and would happily redirect my questions elsewhere if need be! Thanks!!! ===

I'm in the process of building a new computer piece by piece and was wondering what graphics card everyone is using and what advice anyone could give. I'm not opposed to making an investment as graphics is about the most important component to me, especially for CoH.

Right now I'm running a Radeon 6770 HD, which is more than adequate for 90% of the game. I've pretty much beat the lag issue completely in the game (with the exception of base building, can that be beat?!) so I'd like to focus on quality upgrades while not losing that lovely speed. I'm kinda fuzzy on the real differences between ATI and Nvidia, as I understand it - the differences are negligible when you get into the higher end cards.

As far as computer specs go: 4 core processor, 3.1 ghz. 8 GB ram, half a terabyte hard drive, 750 watt power supply, 27 inch 1080p led monitor - etc. With such a large monitor, I'm running at a really high resolution, if that makes a difference in suggestions for graphics cards.

Thanks so much for any advice!

Hi there and thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing the triangle you're talking about. When I open the folder I created in the App folder, I see the Get Info option by right clicking the game or launcher but I don't see a Properties item there. Sorry to be difficult, but am I missing something?

You can rename the launcher and place a shortcut in your dock. One can change the path in the 2nd launcher to point to the COH app buried in the folder via the Properties button. The launcher requires that the copy must still be named City Of Heroes so do not rename that app.
I'm having trouble finding the Properties menu to change the path for the second launcher and game client. A little help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
