Keep in mind that no game I have crashes except CoH and I have lots of old/new games installed...
I started playing the free mode and was crashing so before I decided to pay money, I tried to fix it. Well, I had an old 2002 Soundblaster Audigy 2 card I been using and the game kept crashing. I noticed this popping sound so after trying multiple things, I decided to take out the card and use onboard sound chip. The crashing stopped so I paid $15 for a month. I played fine for about a week then the latest patch happened. Now I crash daily. Sometimes within minutes. Sometimes within an hour or two. I have no clue what is causing this and I hope NCSOFT fixes it because if not, I will have no choice but to not dish out money for this game. And that's depressing because I really like what they have done for this game (except crashes lol). It's weird because I can be sitting still, by myself in my own mission doing absolutely nothing and the game will just crash. I'm thinking about building a new PC and hopefully that will help but Christmas and birthdays are coming so I may have to hold off on that. Anyways, here's my specs:
Windows XP pro
P4 3.0ghz CPU
EVGA 9800gt
2GB RAM
ASUS P4V800D-X motherboard
This game plays fine but it just crashes. So depressing! And I can't even seem to be able to send a crash report to NCSOFT. When I click on send, it just locks up.
