Well thats just rubbish, PL'ing is PL'ing. The end result is the same, it dont matter where it gets done.

I dont have a problem with people doing it, if you have i think you need to start getting your head round it, because it wont be stopping.

As for it cluttering up the MA, well shame. You might as well get ya head round that too.

It does matter where it gets done - PI PLs have gone on for a couple of years, and the devs never said a word - MA PLs go on for a couple weeks, and the devs start banning 50s that have leveled too fast - that seems to show that the devs treat an MA PL as a way more serious problem than a PI PL.

The MA is still a work in progress, and it will get more anti-PL measure added to it for sure - it's a big feature, and the devs want it to work properly, the way it was intended to work.

No, the devs have thrown the toys out of the pram because their precious addition to this game has turned round and bitten them.

Well more fool them for not realising what would happen.

And they can put as many anti power level features in the MA as they like, then they will have had another fiasco epic waste of time unused feature to show for the last 9 months work.

Much along the same lines as the epic pvp fix, only slightly worse.

And it's good that they're working to correct the mistakes made with the MA - trying to fix something is way better than just saying "never mind" and leaving it broken.

The MA PLing also puts off people from using it - so any loss of PLers from the MA would be covered by normal players starting to use it.

I still think it'd be better to have one single Scoop for the whole game - news organizations have reporters all over the world, so the Scoop can too

Must admit there have been times that I have really wished for a mix mash toon that could have powers from here there and anywhere.. Emps with SB + ID too.. or Blasters who could pull out a Broadsword, Tanks with sonic dispersion etc...

What if there was a Jack of all trades toon, that started with a set amount of points.

Powers could be given point ratings and each level you spend the points to get the power, every set could be treated as a secondary as its not a true "blaster" or "fender" but you could then have hundreds of new toons and proliferation without any new sets.

There will be more power set proliferation eventually - the devs mentioned it recently as something that wasn't a top priority right now, but could be squeezed in if they got some time, I think.

I think I16 will have something else in it, as wellas PC, because it'd be unusal to have just a cosmetic upgrade for an Issue.
I think there'll be more MA enhancements, and maybe a normal mission arc related to PC in some way.

Actualy, if you use the 5-gap on a 8 map mission only bosses is within the game mechanics, thus not breaking the EULA. And in such run, within the boundries of the game mechanics, it is possible to hit 50 within hours.

That you use the MA creativily, maybe not as devs would have liked you to use it, is in no way breaking of EULA.

And how much you cry, scream, kick, trash, yell, flame or spam, it wont change anything unless devs want to. And that is good, devs only should listen to constructive and argumented remarks, and since the majority is based on own personal view (including mine), it is far from the reality.

And maybe, instead of being so against it, so hatefull and so anti-farm (i sence hypocrism - or how u spell it), its better just to accept the current state and move on. Be it outside CoH since u cant enjoy it anymore, be it within the 'living hell' and find your own place of peace.

All I did was try capturing the movement from the selection screen and forcing it into my avatar's head

Well, it's messed up the tailor and avatar selection screens - but apart from that, it's ok

I don't think the idea is to stop farming - it's to stop 1-50 in a few hours
The devs have made no mention of stopping farming - it's the excessive PLing they want to go after.

I think the MA will get further tweaks before GR comes out - possibly in I16 along with PC, like the way there were MA improvements in I15.
