Just so you are not left with the wrong impression I do honestly hope PvP can be made to work. My favorite characters tend to be Team oriented Empaths and I have REALLY enjoyed the few occasions when I was in a WELL ballanced PvP match, struggling to keep the team going and being challenged more then 99.9% of the PvE world gives. I would say 1 of my 10 best experiances was in PvP.

Umm...why? Some player expressed an opinion that the devs spent too much time on PvP. Unless you're the person who made that decision, there is nothing there for you to be offended about. You might have a different opinion about that decision, but no offense to you was made.

Now, if he's said that all folks that like to PvP were ranting ganking social misfits, then you'd have grounds for offense.

As a non-PvPer allow me to state the simple reason why I'm not interested - CoH isn't a PvP game. It wasn't build around PvP concerns and is lightyears away from having any real balance. The devs admit there is no AT or powerset balance, and tougue-in-cheek suggest that balance exists at the team level (which is just another way of saying that stronger builds will pull the weight of weaker builds overall). The amount of change necessary to get powersets to rough equilibrium would be massive, its not something we're going to see take play in CoX when the devs won't even devote the time to tweak blaster secondaries. If you want a PvP-balanced game you'll need to wait on CoH2 or City of Marvels.

Someone else had compared the situation to Dominator unpopularity, and the situation is similar with only one difference - scale. Thats a big difference tho, Doms can be improved with relatively minor tweaks, PvP balance would require a revisit to almost every single powerset in the game with some major changes across the board. It'd require darn near a rewrite of the game.

Sigh.. Not that nobody knew this is the past. We just needed a dev response to clarify. When i read, on the the past update, that you were going to put Arena Kiosks in Pocket D, i took that as the biggest kick in the balls ive ever had with this game. Thats like putting a cat on a floaty and pushing it out to sea.... and maybe two years later sending it food.

And i thought the oil spill had tons to do with the Coralax. THey spawn a lot around there.

Coal buddy? aww thanks. It was i. Cheap and me checked out a load of stuff today with not so much as a speck of info about any of the "secret" stuff in the game. I had a theory about the oil spil and thought if i could get my camera to go underwater i could look under the oil spill and see if theres something under it.

Eh and i sat in Grand for about an hour killing the same spawns from the underwater pool. The spawns ranged from level 13-15, minons-boss, and different emotes such as a /e coffee, clipboard, and warm up(or something like it).
