Have you actually checked the store website dude? It's not an Archetype or a powerset.....it's a set of costumes, aura's, emotes, and one power that makes you blow up....that's it.

I was intrigued by the Cyborg powerset, until I found out you had to pay extra for it. PLEASE whoever makes the decions on this, dont ever make another powerset available by purchase only. The emotes/dances/costume options, fine, but not the powersets, those should be available to everyone.

According to the readme with the EVGA drivers, it IS Nvidia's, as seen here.

I dont think they are, because when I had the EVGA drivers in, there was no control panel(to adjust AA,AF, clamp/allow LoD, ect). They wouldnt have to write new drivers, just make modifications. Nvidia just makes the chipset, their licensees make the hardware. I dont know, maybe Ill actually look it up. lol

See, thats the thing. Does EVGA "pull a Dell", and make their own little tweaks that render Nvidas drivers wonky(for lack of a beter term), or are they fully compatible? I have tried the EVGA drivers, dont recall , but I dont think they helped, I may pop them back in.

Can it be pre-loaded? I havent looked for a setting, as I likely wouldnt use it, but somehow, thats whats happening it seems.

Sadly, I just CTD'd, no error, after alt-tabbing to fix freeze. Went to alt tab back to game, it wasnt there. This is a typical Netgraph for me(blocks are freezes)Freezes. NO idea what change, but I was fine net-wise just last month, never had any graphic/freeze problems like this. Its making me want to dig out my old FX5900... I have a EVGA 8600GTS now, running at 55C in-game, so heat's not causing my problems. Using 177.79 drivers(I have just about every driver on Nvidia's site, none made any difference), Driver Cleaning after every uninstall, totally at a loss for an explanation, other than something with my connection, that I havent been able to solve. Running 32 bit XP, by the way, 2GB Kingston Hyper X ram(at stock 800MHz or OCd to 1066MHz(FSB speed) makes no difference in freezing/crashing). CPU is dual core Intel, 2.53 GHz(stock speed).

Just installed the 177.92 Nvidia drivers, after uninstalling/cleaning older one, and I'm still getting occasional freezes of up to 15-20 seconds, less if I alt-tab out and back again. Have aa/af maxed on card, most settings maxed in-game, no bloom, DoF. PCI bus is set to 100 Mhz in bios, as I don't like Auto's ability to slow it down without me knowing, then trying to fix a slowdown by other methods first. CPU is a Intel dual core, 2.53Ghz, 2 GB PC800 Hyper X RAM, Audigy 2 ZS sound card. Temps on all of them seem ok, so I doubt it's overheating causing it.
Edit: GAAAHHH! I THINK it may have been that I somehow lost the trusted status for my home network. No idea why or how that happened though.
Edit2: Nope. Just had a BSOD, something that hasn't happened in a LONG time. Reset PCI bus to Auto, turned Enhanced CPU protection(or whatever its called on a GA-P35-S3G). Trying it now.
Edit3: Nope, still getting occasional freezes.

Im not 100% certain it would, as it seems(to me), all that would be needed would be to remove the flag that makes the exits from Pocket D "Heroside" or "Villainside"(also removing the relatedguard dialog of course), since both sides already have the ability to zone into an area(unless the PC/RI areas are also flagged as heroes/villains only, meaning another flag removal). The major problem I see would be the lag created by a bunch of yahoos from both sides invading the others sides area. My guess is that Pocket D wouldn't be able to be used for this(Zero intolerance ), but if implemented, look for a massive upswing in pvp zone population. There's also a question of whether or not to have missions in the other side's area, and with the now "non-functional during Rikti raids" NPCs "go active" when villains are present blueside, and vice versa. Personally, that's what I would've liked the pvp to be, and packaged as a completely different game(a pve and pvp version of CoX), so you'd be able to play with people of similar interests. Wouldve been more work, but it would've bee nice.

Still having MASSIVE lag in bank missions, both red and blue side, but regular mission are fine. Dropped world detail to 50%, shaders to medium, tried re/unloadgfx, no bloom, water effects, ect.(never use them), character detaill 100%, supress close effects both on... Im totally clueless as to why its only bank missions, I can run around anywhere, even AP, with shaders at high, and world detail at 200%, with no problems almost all the time, and if there is a problem, its minor. I dont think its my net connection or my hardware, as its only the bank missions this happens in, so Im wondering whats different about them, as I didnt have anywhere near this trouble with them before.

Looks like Ill have to use the respecs I have. Thought there werent any coming, so Im glad Ill be able to make a couple needed changes. Also, I dont get all the excitment over global name change. First, why would you change it, unless you no longer have/deleted that character, or a situation like above. Second, it seems some people change them more than rarely, but I cant see why. Never changed mine, because I never felt the need to, and would like some reason for changing global handles.

Just had a thought. Im about to look over my firewall settings, as I dont recall it asking if it should allow CoH internet access, as it usually does. Im still getting only timeouts after hop 12, and have expressly allowed the ips above through my firewall, though I hadnt needed too before, but it doesnt seem to make a difference.

Just last night I was getiing ALOT of lag in bank mission, talking 3-4 fps here. Regular missions were fine though. No bloom, water, any high-end special effects really. Highest setting is character detail(100%/very high), world detail's 65%, and Low seting, so setting graphics lower wont do much, plus, as I said, it only happens in CoV bank(Mayhem) missions. Had tried un/reloadgfx in-game, but it didnt help.

Serge: The Tsoo are attacking Icon, and magically changing the clothing to the most horendeous colors! Please help!

I do like the looting idea though, but I am also concerned about the lag it may cause.

4. Ummm. No. Blasters/defenders get ranges attacks primarily for a reason. The only dual wield that would work is Dual Pistols, and only for Assault Rifle, which kinda nulls that out.
5. Villains need epics before heroes get new ones.
6. Regen sucks? Thats not what Ive heard. Also, if its on par with invunerability and Willpower, why even bother with 3 powers that do the same thing, and just have one of them?
As to the jetpack as a costume piece, Id have to assume that it would be nonfunctional, which makes it kinda useless. Real jetpacks arent that hard to get.

Nor am I. Years ago, I saw a "Mech Pak" for Mecjwarrior, but didnt get it, because it was $9.99, and you only got 4 mechs, which to me, wasnt nearly enough.
Im NOT a monthly fee fan, Im a free fan. Im getting the time cards bought for me, 6 months at a time for birthday and Christmas. This is only the 2nd pay to play game I have, LotRO being the other, that I have lifetime subscription for. $200, but well worth it.
Im hoping Ill be able to make it to the wedding, because its a nice change of pace.
