Oh Jane he's so CUTE!!! I hope you are totally spoiled rotten while in the hospital! I was supposed to go for a tubal ligation tomorrow but cancelled til next year. The little guy is simply too attatched to Supa Mom and won't settle for anyone else. My mother hasn't seen him and probably won't bother coming down for a few years. Six hours drive isn't worth the hassle.

Just finished giving the little guy a bath and he chernobylz in his diaper. ARGH.. should've waited.

I came up with a way to get cars to slow down.. too many cats killed on my street..and too many near misses for my kids. Holographic Children playing Road Hockey.. and for night time? Old Lady crossing the street.. maybe in another 20 years they'll be common place.

Yeah, but it takes a LOT of peanut butter to get duct tape out of fabric and hair.

4 kids. 1 in hosp. Trust me, it's a frickin vacation... when you're the parent in hosp with child and he's ok and they're alseep and the other three can't bug you for anything that is.

Baby comes first.

We were discharged this morning. They think he's fine and that he'd simply choked on his spit up. It was so confining and boring, I could only dance with him a few feet from the crib because of the monitor hook ups. I'm glad he's ok and that we didn't have to stay, a couple of babies came in with RSV lastnight and didn't want my little guy to catch that.. then there was the little kid Brendan with the type one and type two diabetes had with a ton of LOUD visitors and everyone of them knew something about insulin and pumps and now so do I.. gawd keep it down!!

They want us to spend the weekend in hospital to monitor the little guy..
So as soon as we're ready, that's where I'll be this weekend.
I've got nasal mist and a suction bulb too.. he hates it but it's necessary. Gotta make sure the other kids are set before I go.

We both woke at the same moment.. the baby was so still and quiet. I gently shook him awake.. he was cold..and had spit up. All three of us have been awake ever since. Scared the CRAP out of us. Little guy has a cold so he's a little nasally and you can hear the little noises when he breathes. Taking him in when the doctors office opens. He's otherwise been smiles and coos since. I just got him to go back to sleep but We'll be keeping a close eye on him.

My Ex took the kids to see Indiana Jones and The Crystal Skull before he passed away. Now Tom's obsessed with Indy.. better him than the Hulk!!

Ash is going to her first rock concert on Thursday.. must google "Hedley".

Proud Mom Alert!!

We finally got Tristan on meds that seem to bring out his "brilliance". Strattera has upped his concentration to the hilt! He keeps bringing home math tests, spelling tests, you name it, with perfect scores. I'm so proud of him. He's finally wrangled in his Aspergers and made it work for him instead of against him.

Tommy is adjusting well to his new school. I've made one trip over so far to observe him from behind the two-way mirror. He's still a bit of a handfull but compared to some of the kids I've seen there, he's an angel.

Ash is almost as tall as I am, I'm sure that by next year we'll be fighting over shoes, and clothes!! She's blonde with green eyes.. so I'm hoping her "inner nerd" keeps the boys at bay!!

Once, when Ash was a toddler, we were in the car at her Dad's work waiting for him.. she was standing in the passenger side with the window down and when she saw him approaching she got excited and accidently stepped on the window button.. it went up and and down on her torso between me frantically pressing my down button on the drivers side and her foot pressing the up button from the passengers.. she was'nt hurt but it was reminiscent of something out of Three Stooges for a moment or two.

My brother let the kids watch Dave Chappelle once. It took a year to get Tommy to stop saying "Rick James, [censored]!".

On another note.. mastitus really sucks.

Don't be scared.. if they do their jobs right.. you won't feel a thing.. and then you get spoiled rotten.

Okok.. time to get off of my butt and make lunches for skewl.. argh.. so sleepy.

Luckily, he caught onto my angst and stepped up to the plate. I think he got an earfull from his sister before I could give him an earfull. He must've done ten loads of laundry lastnight..

My ex had a gun collection, which his girlfriend of five years made him sell BEFORE she dumped him..which was a smart move.

I'm stuck alone with 4 sick kids and one hell of a chest cold.. even when my mate is here he's not really here. I've made three meals, been taking care of runny noses, a cranky baby and the chores all bloody day. My chest feels and sounds like I've swallowed a set of bag pipes. Not once did I get a "You go rest honey, I'll make sure the boys don't trash the place, feed em and get you some tea." End of rant. Sorry.

WOOT!! Had the little guy in for his 1 month weigh in.. he went from 7lbs 1oz to 10lbs 11oz!!! GP's Breasts FTW!!!

LOL Thanks for the good laugh!!! After trying to satisfy the all consuming needs of a nearly month old baby and his siblings all day.. I don't feel so bad anymore.

Cy wants our son to become a baseball player.. thanks for keeping me posted so I have some inkling as to what to expect.
