This is becoming the movie thread..

Speaking of movies, did anyone go see X-Men Origins: Wolverine?

Well, at first I thought I'd wait for the DVD and be disappointed like I was with X-Men 3 (A whole other story best saved for later), but my friend invited me to go to the movies, so I thought we were going to see the Star Trek movie, but it turns out we saw X-Men Origins instead.

Well it did little to disappoint me, I actually loved it. I won't give anything for those who haven't seen it away, but one thing did grind my gears.. And it was this: Gambit For those who haven't seen it, you must have had some clue he was in it.. If you didn't, I'm sorry. The guy didn't even sound Louisianian, what's up with that?! Gambit is supposed to have a strong accent. This guy sounded like an Aussie.

That aside, there was one other thing that I will not mention to keep the film a secret to those who haven't seen it, that grinded my gears a little as well.

UPDATE:

My onboard video card (i.e. nVIDA) doesn't like ATI. That and the AGP slot might not take cards with a power source. So returning the card I have is a must, now I just need a video card that doesn't take a power source..

Any ideas?

Aye, and the valiant efforts seem to be fruitless, sadly, I'm going to take my computer to the local store that installed the extension and see if they can figure it out. If not, I'm sending the card back and getting a replacement.

I was too.

But it seems I have another problem. I had the guy extend the power source cable, plugged it up, and hooked the other wires up and watch the screen to animate annnnndddddd nothing. Monitor says "No Video" and goes to sleep.

Dangit.. All I had was a Gigabitz, a local store, and they were sold out..(And RadioShack but that was a stretch) But I was directed towards a local guy who could have the cord extended in five minutes or less, and that's what I'm doing today.
