Hmm ok. I like your build better than mine. Has some higher defenses. I took Melt Armor because I figured I would be hitting easier/harder and so would my teammates.
Chain Induction was more of an afterthought at 49. It's a fun power but I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to fit it in the build. Also I hear good and bad things about it so *shrug*.
I've been thinking about putting in Spring Attack for the heck of it. Is that a good idea or overkill since I already have Lightning Rod? -
I got my first 50 (woo) and I'm not sure what to do with him. I have never IO set a character before. I'd like this guy to be able to tank content but doing a farms for money for all of my other alts would be nice too. I have done a Mid's and would like some suggestions on it. As this character is level 50 I don't really care what order the powers and slots go in. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

I've never IO'd a character and this has been rather handy for my fire/elec tank. Three things though. Why did you skip Rise of the Phoenix? I've seen a few people go with Aegis on Brutes for some powers. Would that go for here too or is it not needed? Finally, I went with the Pyre pool instead of energy. How would that change what IO's I would need to get?

No they don't have Going Rogue but when Freedom comes out I thought everyone was getting access to it?
-
Since this is the first time they would be playing the game I'd like to try to give them a normal, non-AE/plvl way to go. After some experience if they decide to do it it's on them.

I have a few friends that would like to play CoH together. Here's my issue however. One wants to play a villain, another wants to be an anti-hero, one just wants to stab things and another just wants to make pretty outfits preferably blueside. If I make a SG, can villain boy join the SG and team up with us to do missions? I know there are certain zones where this is possible but what about in the same SG. For example I'm thinking running around Steel Canyon to poke things together? Also, what about TFs, SFs etc?
