Whoa partner! If I came across as combative it wasn't intentional! I think the change is lame as well. I just don't think It's fair to blame it on PVP if the turrets in RV thing is what precipitated the change. My point was that the pillboxes aren't exactly PvP and this exploit was very likely used by badge hunters as well as PvPers. Those pillboxes could have showed up in a PvE zone at some point no? This change is stupid and unecessary and I hate it. I dont even own a /dev blaster My only point was that it's a stretch to try to pin THIS nerf on PvP.

Malt turrets and DE emantors don't give nearly the rewards that dismantling the RV pillboxes do. And I really don't see why people bothered with this tactic anyway since smashing the pillboxes with a heavy seems more efficient

I'm going to have to call you to task on this one Ohms........you can't blame everything bad on PvP. This is ham fisted dev blundering and nothing more. The biggest problem with TP foe was being able to port the turrets off of the pillboxes in RV. Yeah I know, RV is a "PVP zone". That's what they call it but on Justice there is very little PVP going on in there and I suspect it's the same on other servers. The zone gets more use from badgers than it ever did from PVPers.

While it may not be obvious, Lab's guide is geared to *arena PvP* and is good advice in every regard. You guide suggests a zone PvP slant. These is a LOT more freedom to be had with your build if you're building for zone PvP.

I think the biggest update would be for the holders to keep holding and do nothing else until they get thier Hami-o. This was true before but even moreso now with the shorter duration on the holds. And once again: MONITOR THE REQUEST CHANNEL AND FOLLOW THE LEADERS' INSTRUCTIONS!
