Does anyone actually know if flurry has a greater Gauntlet effect than a normal punch? It is 8 punches after all, and Gauntlet was said to be per punch.

Doubt it - Flurry is really a damage over time (DoT) attack where your 8 punches either all hit or all miss. Gauntlet effect will possibly start from the end of the last punch so it might seem to hold a bit longer, but as you are rooted for the duration of the flurry wont help you out - might help your team though! -

It's already live - someone on US forums quoted seeing around 20% damage resistance....I also took "Lucky" so have no fear of Nemesis AoEs.

I had it in my head that it was coming after I6. That probably explains why I've scraped through a few close fights recently.
I've got lucky too, as I was taking a lot of AoE hits before 35 (when Evasion is available). Unfortunately, Elude is going to have to wait until 41 as I want to take Agile (ranged passive) at 38 cos I skipped over it early in my career in favour of focused senses. -
Burrel is certainly a nasty piece of work. A certain lady with a big gun would be keen to have a few words with him - probably along the lines of, 'Gun, Full Auto, Engage.' - even if the recoil would currently still lift her off feet and into the nearest wall.

I didn't have Evasion six-slotted before and even now with only 3 SOs, it still lets me deal with small groups of nemesis/council. I have increased passives to 3 slots to somewhat make up for reduction to toggles and this will also get me some scrapfiance when it goes live.

Only one of the ideas I had for a villain name so far didn't work out. I wanted to create an ICE/ICE corruptor and call her 'Snow Flake' - forgetting that we share the database with all the hero names. Tried a few variations on the theme, but no luck so she ended up as 'Cold Heart'.
Other ATs worked out okay although the dominator and stalker were already second choices when I made them in Beta.
Red Rag - Energy/Fire Brute (main villain toon - half man, half cow, all attitude - and a bad attitude at that)
Nanotetrix - Robot/FF MM (MM teams are just so much fun)
Pouncing Tiger - Claws/Ninja Stalker (lvl 1)
Rose Bloodthorn - Plant/Plant Dominator (lvl 1)
Negaflitz - MA/SR stalker (Flitz's evil nemesis, lvl 1) -
Hey, leave the snipe animation alone! I for one like it.

I respecced Flitz to a ED build and he is still on rugged at 37. Admittedly I did get planted by a level 39 council initiate boss last night that was conning purple and have to be a lot more careful against reds and oranges. The rest get stunned and polished off quickly as the extra slots from defence have gone into my attacks.

Gone for Energy/fire, mainly because havent used either before. seems good so far, but as there's 35 lvl's to go so we'll see

Another Energy/Fire Brute here. I'm finding that Blazing Aura is a real double-edged sword - while it helps take down the mobs, it sure attracts the aggro - and Brutes are NOT Tanks. -
Lead Hose AR/DEV: With seemingly unlimited ammunition, this ladies' goal is to hose down her enemies with a continuous stream of hot lead. Look out for Lead Hose any night during the week between 7-11 UK time, esp. Thursdays, as well as the occasional marathon weekend session. Or if you see Flitz, ask him why he's not playing his blaster! Posts as Bigwilly, honest!
