    It's true that some of the new powersets aren't technically free, however, you have already paid for them. 400 points a month equals 4800 points per year. At 800 points a pop, that means you can purchase 6 powersets - if that's the only thing that you purchase. This, of course, doesn't include the other perks you get for being VIP such as the additional free power sets, costume sets, story arcs, invention system, Incarnate content, etc.

    If you are like me though, and suffer from what my wife calls the Pokemon Complex (you know, gotta catch/have em all) then yes, you are going to have to purchase some extra points here and there.

    I seem to recall Zan turning into tidal waves as well as inanimate water/ice objects. Granted, he did it so infrequently, his powers were more of a running gag.
