((Ahh well anyone can fit in here :P I plan on adding another character. She won't be "omnipotent" though like the other two, just to be there :P))
-
((Of course!))
Kain nodded, pulling out a medium cup. He mixed soda water together with apple syrup, adding a little grape for flavor. Satisfied, he set it in front of Jessica with a smile. His attention was soon pulled away by a scene near the back wall, where Anjee was flirting with another girl. Much to the amusement of the male patrons watching she kissed the girl solidly, winked to the crowd, and walked to a nearby table to grab the empty mugs. Kain shook his head and muttered. "Silly lass. Always makin' a show." -

General Information
--------------------------------------------------
The idea for this whole thing came from scanning other RP forums. Bar and pub threads are all over, and yet as far as I could tell, one doesn't seem to be active for CoX! Blasphemy! I see it as my civil duty to give us our own! Of course, the whole needs a few adjustments from the classic pub scene, seeing as we're dealing with superpowered beings. With that in mind I began my construction of a bar for the super-capable, with all the necessities to keep those involved drunk and happy!
The rules are as follows:
1.) Unlike my previous RP idea, you do not need to PM me with character descriptions! Enter and leave as you please, just try not to leave people hanging! We can understand a character getting drunk and passing out, so if you desperately need an exit, just go unconcious!
2.) Decent writing is appreciated. I don't care about typos or even poor grammar. I won't stand 1337-speak or anything like that, so if you can't write normally you don't belong here. The only exception to this is if, say, you run a character that DOES speak in 1337. This is typically a rare case, but if it's true for you, send me a PM describing why.
3.) I will be running two bar characters, one will be a main and one just for background. Both are to be respected. If one tells you you need to leave, you shouldn't try to say otherwise. For this RP, unless otherwise notified by myself, they are like gods to you. You cannot fight back if you are bounced. As far as you're concerned they're like fighting Hamidon. Solo. At level 1. Not gonna happen. There will be cases where I will deem one of them vulnerable, for story reasons. The only reason I say this is because I've seen too many bar RPs go to pot because of some random troublemaker, so if I write you out, you were doing something wrong. Any complaints with this rule should be directed to our Executive Director of Human Resources, a mister Heywood Jablome. =P
4.) You must be here for a reason! Whether it's just to relax, get drunk, get a piece of action, or start a fight, everyone must be here for a bar-related reason. I also expect to see some of each! Get out those cheesy pickup lines and boxing gloves!
Also, heroes and villains are both allowed. The bar is situated in a city zone inside of Bloody Bay, so it's accessable to all. This also means that they don't check for ID. Hell, they don't care at all. A 10 year old could walk in there and, if they could stand the taste, could order a beer. Neither of my bartending characters would care. They also serve anything, so if you're a special-needs super (such as a robot), they can serve something special just for you.
This is a classic looking pub. We're talking wood paneling, heavy glass mugs, TVs in the corner, a jukebox to the side, and a long bar covering the length of the wall. Tables and chairs are also wood, and there are booths along the walls. However, there are some special things. There is a caged fighting pit sunk into the floor in one end of the building. Think the cage pit where the monkeys fight in Pocket D, and you get the right idea. The cage itself is about 100x100x100 yards, and made of 350 maraging steel. For those who don't know what that means, it's a steel that has a tensile strength of nearly 350,000 pounds per square INCH. Basically, no, no matter how strong you are, you can't break that. I doubt you could even dent it. It is also surrounded by a rotating frequency forcefield, to prevent non-physical attacks from leaving the fighting arena. The cage is built this way so that no customers watching will somehow be injured outside of the cage. There are various object inside for fighting with or hiding behind. You are allowed to make these up as you see fit, when you use them. It is surrounded by platforms for ease of observation.
There is also a tech-oriented superbase under the bar itself. Typically it can be rented out for meetings or parties, but for the most part it remains open to visitors. The computer systems, especially those tied to the power, control, and WMD systems, are protected heavily by security algorythms that even the best hacker could take days decrypting. It's no attempting to break in, as you'd be caught long before you could make much progress. The weapons lockers however are locked by a simple keypad by the larger, dedicated bartender. He actually sleeps in the base at night, and as such runs most of it. However, no one has said he's the sharpest knife in the drawer. The locker password is "1 2 3 4 5." (Hey, that's the same combo as my luggage! <.< >.>
Any other info you may want to know, you only need to ask about!

Character Info (Bartenders)
--------------------------------------------------
Name: Aingeal "Anjee" MacKenna
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Race: Irish Human
Archetype: Tanker
Powers: Fire/SS
Job: Waitress/Bouncer
Photo: Anjee
Appearance: She is fair skinned, has freckles, emerald eyes and orange-red hair. She's about 5'5" or so, and around 130 pounds (she claims the weight is mostly muscle). She can usually be seen in a white tank, green vest, green biker gloves, green pants, black leather belt, and white and green running shoes.
Personality: She's a fiery one. She isn't above flirting with hero and villain alike, but touch her without permission and you'll find yourself in a heap of trouble. She is very intelligent and uses it to her advantage, trading wits with the best of them. She's also both the waitress and bouncer for the pub, and if you cause trouble you'll find yourself out on the street faster than you can say "Bleedin' 'ell!"
-----
Name: Kain Murphy
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Race: Irish Human
Archetype: Tanker
Powers: Ice/SS
Appearance: Tall, wide, and dumb looking. He has reddish short-cropped hair, dark green eyes, and muscles. Lots of muscles. At first glance many think that he would be the bouncer, but they soon find out they're sorely mistaken. He can however provide backup to Anjee if needed, so watch out. His clothing is typically a white wifebeater, faded blue jeans, and a long white apron.
Personality: Simply, he's stupid. He's a good guy though, very kind, and very fun loving. He's been the best friend of Anjee since near birth, their parents often set up playdates for the two of them. Of course, that had to do with them both being super strong, and accidently injuring other children, but that's besides the point. He's the bartender for the pub, and while he may be stupid he does his job well. Anything you could possibly ask of him he can make, he might as well be an encyclopedia of drinks. Use small words around him, and keep the jokes simple, and you might just get a laugh out of him! -
Anjee flitted from table to table, spreading drinks left and right. They had only opened the bar 15 minutes ago, and already they were packed nearly to bursting. The popularity of the bar had risen dramatically in the past few months, what their being really the only not-trashed bar that accepted supers. Most in Paragon had banned supers from entering due to damage, and those in the Rogue Isles typically were trashy and horrible. However, in the Titan's Chamber all were welcome, and served with a smile.
"Al' 'appy? Gran'!" Anjee spoke with a thick Irish accent as she cleared off the empty mugs from a table. She didn't even flinch when a crash sounded from the cage. Some object had just been smashed against someone else's head. This was a common occurance in the pit, nothing to worry about. She set the mugs on the bar for Kane to gather and clean, and went back out onto the floor to chat with the patrons. On the way a hand crossed her rear end, goosing her.
She turned immediately, with a big smile. The man before her was easily twice her size, even sitting down he was eye to eye with her. "Aye, wud ye loike somethin', 'un?" The man grinned, speaking up in a rough voice. "Yeah. I'd like to know why something as hot as you is working here in a bar. You should come home with me, I could give you a better time than anyone else here!"
The bar went silent. The jukebox took that particular moment to switch to "Nickelback - Next Contestant", and those who were regulars inwardly laughed at the irony.
"Ah, well tanks 'un! But oi'm perfectly 'appy 'ere."
The man stood, placing a hand on her shoulder, the smile on his face if anything getting wider.
"No, really, I insist. This is no place for someone as sexy as you."
Anjee's gaze locked onto the meaty hand on her shoulder, then back.
"Naw, tanks. Nigh kindly remove yerself before oi do it for ye."
"Oh? And what are you going to do if I don't, little missy?"
"Last chance, 'un."
"I'm not leaving."
Anjee didn't respond with words. She merely sent a fist into his gut, which knocked him back over the table behind him, crashing to the floor. She walked around the table while cracking her knuckles. The man's eyes were wide and he was scrambling back away from her. He obviously didn't expect such a show of strength from such a little girl. She stopped in front of him and leaned over, pulling him up onto his feet by the collar. A patron by the door knew what was coming, and had already opened the door outside. Anjee spit in both palms, rubbed them together, smiled sweetly, pulled back, and landed a blow square to his jaw. He went flying out the door and hit the ground, sliding several yards and laying there.
"Have a gran' day!"
She turned and walked back into the building, dusting her hands off. She gave a quick "Tanks, 'un" and a peck on the cheek to the patron who had opened the door, then headed back to the bar to pick up the prepared mugs of beer. The pub had returned to it's normal level of noise, conversations starting back up and the jukebox switching to "Robert Palmer - Why Get Up?"
"Who al' needs refills? Got dem roi 'ere!" -
((Picture of Jaime finally! ^_^ Jaime Photo ))
**They say most of his bones are broken! He'll be here a while. That's ok though, I like it here!**
-----
Alissa canted her head to the side, emitting a low growl. "I'm here 'cus I used to eat people like you..." She crossed her arms in front of her, now yellow eyes glaring down on Kia. Her not backing away was a sign of defiance, something wolves and were's alike looked down upon. -
((She's got amazing self-control, considering she just doesn't care :P And yay for picking out a target! How combat-capable is Kia anyway? Things could get bad if she isn't experienced enough o.o))
Jaime was surprised to say the least, eyes darting back and forth between Hali and the whistle. She opened up immediately. **My master is here, he's really badly hurt! They didn't know what to do with me so I ran off!** She was getting fidgety.
-----
Alissa got up from her chair, ignoring those around her. She had sensed the look from Kia, and it urged her to confront the girl. As she moved towards her target it became much more apparent that she had grown, pushing over 6 feet and generally looking bulkier, even with the baggy clothes. She pushed past Jaime, who barely gave her a fleeting glance before fixing herself back on Hali, and stopped near Kia. Her clawed hands went to her hips.
"What're ya lookin' at? Hmm?" -
((POST PLZ ROFLOLZ!!1!! No, seriously o.o I thought I'd never get a chance to get back on here. Yay for being sick! I get to sit around all day! ^_^ Oh, and if anyone is wondering why Alissa is slowly shifting, it's because she's a hunter. There are so many people in the room that instincts tell her at least one could be prey. She knows she's doing it, she just doesn't care enough to stop it :P))
Alissa grunted at the newcomers, crossing one leg over the other in her chair. Now that her object of interest was busy she sank back into seclusion and watched the room. If anyone cared enough to look it was apparent that she may be just a bit bigger than before. Her claw-nails were also longer, and between that and her stiff grip were starting to rip the arms of the chair. She glanced down at herself then back up and around the room. Which one of them would be the easiest...
-----
Jaime was in shock. That human touched her! She spun and snatched a couple more treats and started after Hali, standing beside and a bit back from the chair the woman sat in. Ice. She used ice. That explains it! Now she wouldn't be so alone! The glowy thingy they had put on her master had cut their connection, so she was feeling rather alone. Now she could have a friend!
((And if anyone is wondering, Jaime isn't wearing a glowy. She's more of a spirit than anything else, so putting one on her would just nullify her existence. While her master is wearing one though it limits her, so it's as if she's wearing one anyway.)) -
((I apologize for not posting in a few days, and I hate to say it but it's going to be a bit more. I'm going to Canada for a week, and I dunno how much net time I'll have. I don't mind my chars getting moved to the next area we go, or minor interaction with them.
Jaime will probably attach herself to Hali, munching whatever food she can o.o)) -
((I apologize for my absence. We have people moving in, and I had to move upstairs to another room x.x hectic))
----------
Jaime turned back to the food, keeping silent. It was starting to get crowded, at least to her, and she didn't know what to say or do.
----------
Alissa raised a brow, the fur still slowly creeping up her neck, and the side of her head. The orderly at the door had stepped to the side, speaking into a device. She smirked, showing off her fangs.
"I'm dangerous. That's why I'm here. At least, that's what they tell me."
Her hands dug deeper into the seat as she sank back into it, making a sidelong glance at the door again. There were two more orderlies there now, watching her. They were making a small commotion and were obviously trying not to, so as to not alarm or even alert the rest of the room. They were doing poorly.
----------
((I hope nameless, faceless staff are alright. I figure she probably has her own security detail, in case of emergencies XD They'll probably never get names, let alone any sort of description besides that they're rather big so that they can overpower her. And yes, she about to get ejected :P)) -
((Chotic_Blue, if you want to read Alissa's whole intro thing, it's back on page 3, at least to me. It's a rather long post, can't miss it :P))
"Cool..." She looked for a few moments, then relaxed back into her chair. "Why am I here? I'm dangerous..." She turned her head to the side to show her neck, where thick black fur was very slowly creeping up her neck. When she turned back her eyes were flecked with gold and...when she spoke, were her canine teeth longer? "As for where I'm from, it doesn't matter. No one wants me there anyway."
Her eyes glanced to the door where a rather burly attendant was standing with arms crossed, glaring at her. She flashed him a toothy grin and then looked back to her new "friend." The glowies in general helped to suppress unwanted powers, but when those abilities were part of someone, right down to their genetic structure, you just had to keep an eye on them.
"So, do ya like it here?" -
Alissa didn't seem to care if he felt comfortable or not, she was just amused by now. "I don't care if it's pleasant or not, I want to see it." She leaned forward in her chair, looking very eager.
((Sorry for the short post, just threw one out between cleanup jobs XD)) -
"Oh, so you're an alien, are ya?" She either didn't understand what he was saying, or purely just didn't care. Probably the latter. "I'm Alissa. An infestation? Lemme see." It wasn't really a request, more like an order. She seemed really forceful at that, like she wouldn't take no for an answer.
-
((Jaime ran off to the food table, being all ADD-like o.o If you asked a question since then, I must have missed it XD
Edit: Yes, yes I did o.o))
Jaime spun from the touch, arms full of food. She nodded at the question and started to speak, but closed her mouth quickly. The sound that had come out of her sounded a lot like breaking glass, something that typical humans generally found offensive. She looked a little embarrassed, fixing her eyes on her food.
----------
Alissa fixed her gaze on the lizard-like creature that ventured near the food table. Her chair being near it, she was in the perfect place to see both Jaime and this odd creature, but it wasn't the cold freak that interested her.
"You, hey, you, lizard boy. Cmere. I wanna talk to ya."
She shifted in her seat, crossing one leg over the other, claw-like nails still slightly dug into the arms of the chair. Her eyes flashed through her messy hair, and a fangy smirk crossed her face.
"Where are ya from? Why are ya here? I haven't seen ya around before, ya must be new. How ya likin it so far?"
She was being unusually nice. Between that and the smirk on her face, something was probably up. -
((Oh don't complain XD Both of my characters are totally out of it at this point, just kinda off to the side :P I'm thinking about moving one of em in on KruthT :P Probably Alissa. In fact, I'll do that as soon as I get back!))
-
Jaime, being the hyperactive, ADD-like creature she is, had snuck back to the snack table to look for more food. She kept an eye on the wild-looking girl sitting alone, not quite sure what to make of her.
((Sorry that it's kinda short. It's hard to come up with much with little interaction ^_^)) -
((No :P But then again, she is the sinister, violent outcast. That's just her being a bit emoish ^_^ And I like that you worked with the black thing o.o I didn't want to insist on anything, but that works out pretty well. After all, you catch her at the wrong time and she'll probably attempt to hurt you. Badly.
But this isn't the wrong time <.<)
-
Jaime felt herself being pulled with Ella, going from person to person, being introduced. It was dizzying, even for her. She gave people little waves, kept a smile on her face, but her gaze kept falling back to the girl in the chair, sitting alone. Why did she go over there, when there were so many people here to talk to?
----------
Alissa watched the room, her gaze turning more and more sour. Yes, she was a lone wolf, yes, she usually enjoyed what alone time she could manage, but this was absurd. No one had even ATTEMPTED to greet her. What the hell...
As the blond, blue eyed man entered the room, Alissa watched with interest. Injured... fun... she kept her gaze on him with the aim of locking eyes. Then she might not look as much like the dirty, sinister, violent outcast like everyone seemed to think she was. After all, she wasn't dirty. -
((I think I'm gonna have some fun with this :P))
Jaime took the napkins from the unseen host, but they froze solid before they could get near her face. She frowned, setting them on the table behind her. Sometimes being subzero had disadvantages.

"She's a True Alpha, General."
"A what exactly?"
"A True Alpha! Werewolf. You know, beast of the night?"
"That tone will not be tolerated, Colonel."
"I apologize, sir. I haven't been sleeping well lately, given the circumstances."
A chuckle. "And what is so horrible as to keep you from sleeping?"
"As I said, sir, she's not like anything we've dealt with before. I assume you've seen the disks on werewolves?"
"Of course Colonel."
"Imagine the roughest, toughest, most dangerous werewolf on there. Getting an idea yet?"
"And we have ways of dealing with them."
"Oh, I'm not finished. Imagine that were on steroids. Lifting twenty times its own weight, leaping buildings."
"I see."
"And for her, that's on a slow day."
"Hmmmm. Will this system hold her?"
"We can't be sure. This is the first recorded capture of any alpha. They're very rare, often killing each other off in shows of dominance."
"Can we reinforce security?"
"The science team doesn't think that's a viable course of action. We need to take a different approach."
"Your report mentioned that. What do you suggest."
"We can only see one solution, allowing her us to study her daily life and at the same time keep heavy guard."
"And that is?"
"The Clinic."
"..."
"General?"
"Are we prepared to potentially seriously endanger the patients and visitors there?"
"We believe their technology and security can keep her under control, even during the eventual changes."
"..."
"General, we need a decision."
"...Do it. And God help us all if you're wrong."
-----
Light...it's been so long. How long? Days? Weeks? Months? And so bright... voices? Are those voices? What are they saying. If only I could hear. Where am I? Last I remember, I was hunting in Perez, then some sort of soldiers jumped me. I wonder how far away I am. I wonder what they're going to do to me. If only I knew...if only...if only...
-----
"She's stabalizing!"
A crew of men, women, and otherwise ran between stations, all wearing white medical coats. They busied themselves around a cell, walls made of pure force energy. It was a containment field, designed to prevent anything and everything from getting in or out. The walls shimmered with energy and a girl with wild black hair, looking about 19 or so, floated in the middle.
"Redirect the current to less vital areas, we need to take her out slow enough to secure her!"
The girl's clothes were heavily shredded and tattered, it was surprising that they stayed on her. The left shoulder had slid down her arm and only just barely kept her decent.
"And for God's sakes where's that orderly with a jogging suit? She'll need something to wear!"
Said orderly was running back into the room as the field was being deactivated. Some of the crew rushed forward, a young woman snapping a modified "glowy" to the girl's ankle, another crew member snapping a thin metal band around the girl's neck, an expanding shock collar in case she became violent. The girl's eyes fluttered open, bangs hanging across her eyes. They had a feral look to them, wild, insane. A console let out a fierce squeal, an alarm, and at the same moment the girl leapt at the younger woman, going for the throat with a loud snarl. Two larger men rushed forward and heaved the girl back who, not being in wereform due to the "glowy" wasn't as strong as she could be. Two more alarms went shrieked, the shock collar going off but having no visable effect.
"SEDATIVE! NOW!!"
The older man, the one calling out the orders, grabbed the sedative from the frightened orderly and stabbed the needle into the girl's rear end, injecting quickly. Almost immediately the girl stopped struggling, eyes closing halfway and the snarl slipping to a low growl, then fading completely. The older man stepped back and wiped his brow.
"Get her into those clothes and to her room. Post guards outside, make sure there's no one entering or leaving without my permission. Especially leaving."
The two large men dragged the girl out of the medical room, and the older man leaned against a console, breathing heavily.
"I swear to God, if I ever get my hands on that man..."
-----
+++ Now +++
"Now Alissa, you know I'm not supposed to leave you alone."
"I know Natalie, but I've been good the past few months, haven't I?"
"That's true. You've been very well behaved..."
"And don't you want to go see Jonathin?"
"Hmmm...that'd be nice. Alright, you've convinced me, I'm trusting you. Just be good, alright?"
"I promise. I promise."
-----
The older woman parted with the girl at the door, waved goodbye, and took off in a hurry to meet her Jonathin. The girl, Alissa, trudged into the room in one of the Clinic's standard jogging suits, black in color, and gazed around the room with her wild eyes. The glowy on her ankle shone brightly, and the collar around her neck glinted in the light of the room. Her long black hair was still messy and tangled, bangs in her eyes. She didn't care enough to do something about it. She sniffed, picking up the scents of those in the room as well as the food in the corner, previous visitors, and a spot where some visitor's dog had peed in the corner in fright of some patient. Wonderful, that. She was an average looking 19 year old, save the messy hair and hungry looks. Under her clothing she was finely muscled, being much stronger for her size than you might think. The clothes hung off her, wearing a set that was a couple sizes too large for her. There was nothing underneath it either, she didn't wear such human things as underwear if she could help it. When she shifted it was always the first to go, so why bother? Besides, why do humans wear something so restricting? She smirked as she started into the room. That was the wolf in her talking, she had long gotten used to it.
She collapsed into an empty chair near the food table, inspecting what was available. No raw meat...figures. There never was, was there? Always cooking their meat, those humans. Her gaze returned to the crowd, not bothing to move the bangs from in front of her eyes. Out of wereform, there were few signs that she was what she was. One of them was fully apparent then however, fingers clenching into the chair arms and claw-like nails ripping the fabric. She unclenched again and her whole body relaxed, sinking back into the chair with a quiet sigh. It felt good to be roaming alone again, no matter where she was. She never did like the being watched constantly.
--------------------
((Thought I'd add in one of my old characters, from long before I played CoX ^_^ She's easy enough to fit in, and really fun to play. I hope no one minds me having two chars <.< If nothing else, it'll keep me alive longer.
If anyone's wondering about origin or anything, alphas are typically stronger than regular weres, especially in wereform, from being fullblood. True Alphas are different in that they were born a were under the power of a full blood-moon, which enhanced them even further than their genetics already had. True Alphas keep their own minds when they shift, unlike the common shifting were. There's no change of mind at all, they just shift and go. The trade-off is that they naturally have violent personalities, extremely so, no matter what form they're in. She's just as likely to tear your arm off as shake your hand, if she didn't like your face. That's what makes her so fun ^_^ Just be careful around her if you're a werecreature of any kind. True Alphas are extremely territorial, and she won't hesitate to confront you <.<;; Aaaaaanyway... *stops rambling*)) -

((Opps, wasn't meant mentally. Ella can't do that. I was trying to use the {} as what she signed))
[/ QUOTE ]
((Ooh, well, edited!)) -
[ QUOTE ]
Ella rounded the snack table on the opposite side of the blue girl (Jamie) she watched for a moment then shyly said Hello with a timid wave.
[/ QUOTE ]
Jaime turned, a bit of cold mist swishing around her from the sudden moment. She had grabbed a cupcake similar to the one Ella had earlier, but due to her size it looked absolutely goofy and massive in her hands. It was apparent she had already taken a bite, the color of the icing blending in with the color of her skin. She hadn't even tried to take a clean bite, just bit down.
Her head tilted at the greeting, an ear twitching.
[ QUOTE ]
Jaimes reaction wasnt as she expected so she continued Hola? Hallo? Bonjour?...Ciao? a slight mannerism in the blue girl stopped Ella. Ella frowned for a second then signed {Hello my name is Ella what is your name?}
[/ QUOTE ]
With the cupcake in her hands it was difficult for her to sign anything, but she tried to act out that she couldn't talk audibly. It seemed to have worked, though in the process she had accidentally rubbed the cupcake against her face, smearing more icing. When she saw the signed greeting Jaime grinned wide, eyes sparkling. Someone was making an attempt! Relaxed already, she spoke back, hand coming up to try and clean her face, only making the mess worse.
==Hi, I'm Jaime!==
The transmission was odd. It...to put it simply...lacked some things that normal mental transmission seemed to have. There was no force behind the speech, as most mentalists seemed to have. The voice seemed live, as if she had spoken it out loud to the room. It was very light and chirpy, which made sense coming from what was a near-perpetually happy girl.
==You'cn talk, I understand! I jus' can't speak. It might hurt'ya!==
Just as clear as before, and if not for the others in the room not noticing, you could just swear it was audible. -
The window fogged up for the fourth or fifth time, being wiped off again by a small blue hand. The hand was attached to a childlike blue arm, which was attached to a tiny blue girl. She had pulled a chair up to the door to look through the high up window, watching her master laying in bed in what was almost a full body cast and talking to a doctor. The past few minutes had been quite interesting indeed. There had been an argument between her master and the medical staff over her, they had been ordering him to dismiss her, and he had been desperately trying to tell them that she just didn't DO that, she didn't go away! Finally they had simply locked her out of the room, an orderly going off in a rush to file papers for a second entry. They had decided to register her as a live-in, seeing as she didn't want to leave without him.
And so there she was, wiping off the mist that had formed on the window from her breath. Again and again it fogged up but this didn't seem to stop her, or even irritate her for that matter, she just continued to wipe and watch. She glanced away a moment listening down the hall, turned back, and fell backwards off the chair. The doctor's face was up to the window glaring at her. He frowned and pulled down the shades so she couldn't see, and in a huff she pulled herself up and dragged the chair back to its spot by the wall. The blue girl slumped into the chair and pulled her legs to her chest, staring at the door. She was one of the creatures commonly called a "Jack Frost", and an odd one at that. Her master wasn't very skilled when she came to be, he could barely use his new powers, and somehow she just...was. He just couldn't figure out how to dismiss her as other controller-types did, and as such had allowed her to live with him.
After a few moments she pushed herself up from the chair and began to move down the hall, skating on a thin layer of ice under her feet. She smirked as she passed one of the cleaning crew, freezing his bucket of water as she passed and giggling as he turned and stared in confusion at the sudden block of ice. She froze his mop to the floor and took off again, smiling at the thought of him struggling to pull it up later. Out the door she went, blinking in and sunlight and lowering her body temperature to compensate. She crossed her arms behind her back and casually skated down the walk towards another building, watching the people around her enjoying the sun, all in the same jumpsuits from earlier. She thought everyone must have those. Before she had been discovered she had been hiding in the clothes closet in her master's room, watching the happenings. Unable to control herself she had chilled the doctor's stethoscope, and he had jumped when his hand met with the super-cold metal, nearly freezing himself to it.
But that was then. She pulled open the heavy door in front of her with a little trouble and passed through, glancing at a sign. Party? She headed in the indicated direction and pushed through the doorway, glancing around with wide eyes at the various people and the large banner. Welcome Heroes? Spotting food she smiles wide and slides over, inspecting the table with awe.
((Well, that didn't take TOO long <.< >.> She goes by Jaime, though at the moment I dunno if anyone will know that, seeing as the paperwork still has to be filed. As for size, in game she's at the very smallest end of the scale, and her build is very light. In height, she's around the waist on most normal-sized people. She's entirely light blue, has short hair, and long ears the sweep back behind her. I'll grab a picture at some point ^_^)) -
((Might come sooner than I thought o.o I've decided that, between being busy with work (and such) and being poor (T_T) I can only play one game. I chose CoX. So expect to see more of me!
On that note, I've already cooked up quite a few ideas of another story to try :P And I have three days free (that I know of so far) to kick it off. We'll see where it goes!)) -
((Hehehe. I've been stretched to no end... Honestly, I barely have enough time to sleep anymore x.x And I don't sleep very well as it is.
I hate to say it, but yeah, I think this is over. If I might say so, I think that Diov might have gone a bit overboard. Everything just got too complex, it was like playing with a God. Which, I suppose, was the point, but it just didn't seem like much fun to me. Not saying that Diov's RP is horrible! Just saying that going up against something like that is almost as taxing as work every day <.< I honestly started feeling like I was just too tired to do it anymore.
However, as busy as I get, I've always been addicted to RP. If (read: When) I make another, you all are invited!)) -
((Wow o.o life sucks! XD))
Alex jerked suddenly, eyes going wide, and she looked around. It had vanished. The time-line just abruptly ended. Seeing both Shoshemi and the one known as Aoleleb standing there she pushed herself up quickly, the forcefields around her arms keeping them steady for the moment. She stood a moment eyes looking a bit glazed. That was the first time she had done that sort of act, and it left her feeling light headed.
"Ah...what happened?" She put a hand to her head, feeling a bit of a headache coming on. -
((Unfortunately, I'm having a life <.<;; I'm also asking myself if I'm dictating this anymore, or if Diov is o.o))
