I was also displeased to find the servers are down. One would think they would have taken care of any issues -before- Double XP Weekend and not during.

Although to be fair, the dev's are usually kind enough that if this becomes a major issue they would probably extend the weekend or repeat it some time soon.

I wonder, would it be too crazy an idea to suggest my own Nine-Ball in there?

While it seems an unlikely turn of events to see him in such a position, I'd submit the idea because A) he is the kind of villainous jerk who might deserve it, and B) there'd be very little extra work needed to fit him into the picture. Just color the guy yellow and add the #9 chest emblem and you're pretty much there.

Theme/Concept: United Underworld is a criminal organization in the rogue's gallery style of costumed villainy. While working out of the Etoile Islands it seeks to extend its influence into Paragon City and perhaps the world. It is composed of all manner of nefarious villain types whose ambitions might range from the pedantic, to the conventional, to the truly bizarre. By combining their talents with the promise of attaining all their mutual and individual goals, they stand as a vital threat to all law-abiding citizens everywhere, especially the good people of Paragon City and their super powered protectors.

Perhaps what makes UU stand alone among villainous organizations is its unique and dynamic system of leadership, allowing for a free transfer of power to the position of Supreme Leader to anyone who can gain the majority of votes within the leading body politic, the Council of Chaos. This leader is then obligated to submit a plan of action to the rest of the group, who will then follow it willingly for the mutual acquisition of power, wealth, or destruction of the group's enemies.

We are strictly Bronze/Silver Age themed in terms of style.

Activity: The group boasts about 20 members with few alts, and tends to remain consistently active most evenings. Event nights are usually Thursday and Sunday and consist of a variety of in-game activities.

Requirements for Membership: Requirements for membership are meticulously detailed on the web site and Virtueverse page, which include character qualifications as well as agreed upon behavior by the player.

Leadership: The Primary Council is currently made up of Becky Beatdown, Dominatriea, Maestro Fortissimo, Nine-Ball, Seismecca, and Wild-Time

Other Details: United Underworld's leadership and ranking system is RP-driven and drives RP! We have had three very successful cross-group events at the time of this writing, along with many group events, all of which have made good use of the AE system, game mechanics, and PvP engagements. We have enjoyed villain/hero confrontations with groups such as "The Challengers" that have been appreciated on both sides, and look forward to expanding our sphere of contact with appropriately themed groups! We are also currently looking for skilled base-builders to help us spend our prestige on something appropriate for the group!

The bestest new villain group on the Virtue server, United Underworld, needs to update its base into something worthy of its malevolent membership and sinister intent. We are looking for expert base builders who are willing to sign on for an appropriate fee. Interested persons should meet the following qualifications:

1. Know how to design an SG base that is pleasing to the eye yet follows a pragmatic theme. Examples of previous work may be required.

2. Can complete tasks in a timely manner.

3. Able to work while unhampered by such things as huge base plots or a massive prestige fund.

Base facilities that require power and control will not be required--our desires are purely aesthetic. Payment packages begin at "free" or best offer.
