She might need to wear a hazmat suit. In an atmosphere so charged with manliness there's no telling what could happen.

That's absolutely brilliant- clean, right on target, and minimal.

I recall that when the idiot kid got in the snit with "the pro" people quickly found out all his personal info and put it online. Now that was justified and kind of funny, in a karmic sense, would you want some lifeless d-bag doing that to you because you didnt agree that power adjustment x wasn't a horrible unjustified nerf on par with the holocaust? There are some unstable people with the capacity to cause real harm out there, so i dunno.
I'm inclined to agree. As much as I'd love to see people hesitate to flame for fear of backlash via the forums (i.e., they won't be able to hide behind alts and such), there seems to be too much room for ID theft and other real life damage. I'm sure Blizzard has thought of this so perhaps they know something I don't?
  4. ShoNuff: Hello Mr. Sleestack. Thanks for coming back early.

Sleestack: No problem Master Sho. If you've seen one consumer electronics show you've seen them all. What's up?

ShoNuff: It's your friend- the boy detective. He's posting again.

    Sleestack: Marcian Tobay?

ShoNuff: Yes, it felt like Tobay. I spotted him this time and tackled him hard, but he's getting trickier all the time.
  5. Don't try to frighten us with your sorcerer's thread Sleestack. Your sad devotion to this forum hasn't helped you conjure up the stolen data tapes, or given you clairvoyance to hkkkk. Hkkkkkk.
  6. Another "hear hear!" from me. I recently renewed by subscription in part because with CO now out, I felt compelled to support Castle, Posi and co. in what I perceived as a time of need. From reading their forum posts and playing their game I somehow feel I know them.

One thing above all others in Cox spolit every other MMO I have tried.

See that cliff, where you have an objective ? Here - fly/jump up and grab it.

Other MMOs twist through miles of twisty turney mazes that taunt you.

Like Perez as a lowbie for the whole game, all the time.

And once you *get* to the objective, they make you run aaalllllllll thhheee waaaaayyyyy baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaccccccccckkkkkkkkkkk.

.....at which time your mission/quest giver says they need something from that place again.

....this is assuming you were able to find the objective in the first place, which can only be done with the help of player-created web sites.

I'll admit there was a time in late 2006-early 2007 when my faith in CoX wavered and I decided to see what...a certain fastasy game..was like. While that game certainly had its strong points, I contantly found myself thinking "this" was much better in CoX, and so was "that", and "that"...etc. . In short, I realized just how good this game really is, and when I9/I10 hit, I dumped the other game in the trash and came back where I belonged. Keep it up Devs, and thank you!
