Okay, now I'm getting worried.
I just led two flawless Lambda Sector Trials: Getting all 20 glowies, and taking down Marauder within 15 minutes.
Between the two of them, I only died once.
How the heck did I make a tank that good? -
Oh; I'm certainly going to be there on my tank. Really want to test him out in 'difficult' circumstances.

Last night I had one of the best experiences I've ever had in game.
We had a 8 man pickup group tear through an Apex and an ITF, and it was just crazy fun.
We just played through, and the Apex ended up being a Master run and we weren't even trying for that. The ITF got a little crazy, because we were talking about the most random things imaginable while committing acts of unspeakable violence on poor innocent romans. It was FUN!
I'm hoping to reassemble as much of that group as I can for a Tin Mage and a STF tonight. -
That's a good point; I didn't consider that aspect of it. It certainly resulted in plenty of Incarnate XP.

An idea that came up in the last few Lambda attempts I've been involved with had the two teams working in opposite directions on the street clearing. It ended up clearing the streets much quicker, and when we did the same thing clearing the courtyard and the guns, we were a far more coherent and functional unit for the glowie hunt.
I will admit, however, that as far as I know, I was the one who came up with this idea, and I've since seen it adapted by several of the groups I've been with. That's what I love about this game; the creative types can come up with strategies which make things so much easier. I imagine down the line someone else is going to come up with a strategy which makes this one look like a fool's mate. -
I did one this morning that was a complete success, with about 2 minutes left on the timer. We found it easier to have the two teams clear the streets in opposite directions, and meeting at the bridge. As a result, I now have both my Interface and Destiny slotted. Now for the BAF!

Finally pulled off the Lambda Sector trial.
Full team of 16; about 6 tanks, and one beatdown later.
I came out of it with both my Interface and Destiny slotted, thanks to the previously failed attempts. Now it's time to try the BAF trial.... -
While in the middle of a Lambda Sector trial; I mapserved. In my attempts to get back on, I discovered that the entire server has gone down. This leaves but one conclusion: Marauder has taken the server hamster hostage!

But Taalan didn't die that much. I died twice, I think Taalan died 3 times(?) And the total for the TF was 9 deaths. -
Sure; I'll throw my scrapper at it again; makes for great XP.

I consider Protector to be an expanded community from the area that I am working in. You are an incredible group of people. While you may be sometimes infuriating, far more often are you encouraging and amusing.
To everyone I've teamed with, and am yet to team with; I thank you. You make this server what it is, and I would be honoured to help any of you in any way that I can.
