My updater does not show anything in the "display" area. For example, I cannot read patch notes while the game is patching.
Otherwise the updater works perfectly.
The weird thing is that I had almost the exact problem on my old computer. The only thing in common is that they us ATI graphics cards.
On old machine (PC):
* Updater was all black, displaying nothing in the "display" area.
* If I moved another window over the "display" area, I could then see it. I had to "brush" the area using another window.
On new machine (iMac in MacOSX):
* Updater window is all white.
* The "brush" trick does not work on Mac as it protects the application display from other applications.
My pet theory is that they use double buffering and forgets to do a redraw after it is done, but as I have not heard of anyone else with this problem, I wonder.
Have anyone else seen this?
Is there something I can do about it?
I *do* have all the latest updates. -
I have a Logitech MX510 mouse that has two thumb button.
When I play the game in Windows (bootcamp) I can bind those two buttons in the game as button4 and button5.
But when I use the MacOSX client those two buttons register as left clicks.
I have used the Logitech control center to configure those two buttons as button4 and button5. I have tried many different settings but the result is always the same. The game think I click the left button when I use those two buttons.
I really hope that this can be patched in the client as those buttons are perfect for AutoRun and Fly/SuperJump/etc toggling. -
I had the latest supported driver for the iMac, but instead I forced an installation of the real latest versions of the drivers (tricky operation). That did the trick.

The colors for special effect (auras, powers, etc) get very strange. Sometimes I see Dark Servants as completely white or pure yellow fire from my Fiery Aura.
I don't have this problem when playing my villains, only my heroes (as far as I could notice anyway).
Have anyone else had similar problems and what did you do to fix them?
