  1. "vini vidi vici: a complete guide to domination" has this whipped. Go take a look at his guide, maybe you would learn something. After that guide, there really isnt that much room left for specialized guides like this. Thanks for your efffort man but someone beat you to it with a much more encompasing guide.
  2. Wonderfull guide. Really helps with my Dom builds. We need more fully comprehensive guides like this out here. Btw i love the comments on carrion creepers and the venus fly traps.
  3. These binds make the difference between a good mastermind and a great one! Trully amazing. This amount of control should have been implimented upon game release.
  4. November managed to say exactly what I have been saying. I dont have a PROBLEM with small SGs... I just dont like them complaining about not being able to buy a SG base. The PvE content of the SG base is almost worthless. My guild has ress rings and teleport pads. They DONT HELP AT ALL. Infact its allot easier to ress at the hospital than the base (no waiting for you to heal up and gain end.) Then theres the teleporters... the only thing they are good for is jumping from Sharkhead or nerva to somwhere in the mercy-cuap string (which arnt all connected via rouge islands ferry.) Other than SG missions (which you small 5 man groups will have ALLOT of trouble with) pve content of guild bases is useless. Start complaining about building a base and start complaining about HAVING SOMETHING TO BUILD.

    Workshops are another matter entierly. They are used for making pvp objects and teleporters... salvage is so abundant its practicly worthless.

    I dont have a problem with small SGs just please stop complaining about not being able to build a base and then turn around and say you want a base for the PvE features.

    THERE ARE NO HELPFULL PVE FEATURES!!! I can not stress this enough. The bases, at the moment, are basicly PvP launch pads. Anyone who actualy has a base can also stress how poorly the bases actualy help your pve experiance.... Dont get me wrong, I WANT PvE features, so complain about the lack of them. DONT COMPLAIN ABOUT THE LACK OF A BASE IF YOUR NOT INTERESTED IN PVP BECAUSE CURRENTLY BASES ARE DEAD AS FAR A PVE IS CONCERNED.
  5. I agree with november... those are some great ideas...

    But as for all the rest of you Im standing by my statement that a 5 man TEAM is not a full GROUP

    A supergroup is on ORGANIZATION and a COMMUNITY we have a core of players in our SG who team regularly, but we also keep a rotation of lower levels that are welcome to join us, even if we dont know them that well.. people get kicked for innactivity and others get invited because our ranks are empty. Noobs who show their loyalty and stick with our group into the higher levels eventualy gain rank and become closer to our core group. Other people run small 4 or 5 man teams while we play. At any given time we may have up to 5 or 6 individual teams running within our sg. If anyone needs help with an archvillain, hero, or elite boss nobody is afraid to call it out over SG chat. In a matter of minutes they have a full team ready for any objective. Small SGs cant possibly be self reliant. They should just wait till appartments and leave it at that. Larger SGs are the only ones with the manpower and managment skills to efficiantly operate truly memorable pvp events, like a decent guild war. All these small, team-like SGs should stick to themselves and stop whining to the devs that "this game is too haaarddddd... make it easier for us little groups.... cause we dont want to have to deal with anyone other than ourselfes, much less behave like a real SG would." Grow a spine people. If you want a good sg base (even though right now the only reason to have one is pvp) get up, make your guild great, AND EARN ONE. AND FOR THE LOVE OF ALL MMOs STOP MAKING COMPARISONS TO BATMAN AND THE LIKE. This is NOT a comic book, its a Super Hero/Villain THEMED MMO! It will NOT behave like a commic book but RATHER more LIKE an MMO. Go to most other games and you will not hear of small SGs becoming great, simply because "batman could do it so we should be able to also." Take a step back and look at what your playing, your not living a comic book, your PLAYING a MMORPG. For you roleplayers out there I apologize, you may want to live a comic book, but that is mostly unrelated to the topic at hand, which is PvP and the size of super groups.

    One last thing.. Small Sgs wanting Large SG equipment should just close their mouths and wait. The PvE content of SG bases is not only underpowered, but definatly overvalued. The respawn features are weak and teleporters are only good for crossin large zone gaps (ex. from nerva to port oaks). Since IoPs are still currently not live maybe you guys should start complaining about them.. because thats what you really want. PvE support and stat bonuses.. not the functional base you need for pvp.

    My SG IS a collection of friends. we help eachother out when we need help and support the new members who enter our guild. The CORE of our guild, the highest ranking members stay on a private ventrilo server and just hang. We support the other guildmembers in thier activities and draw support (and prestige) from them. A Supergroup is a COMMUNITY communities have seperate, intertwined, groups of firends and enemies inside of them. This is how our SG opperates, and apparently IT WORKS because we arn't having ANY problems building up our base to an acceptable level. We WORK for it and our base belongs to our COMMUNITY. These smaller groups of friends should be a TEAM, not a supergroup. I think when apartments are realeased it will convince these tiny SGs to disband, turning them into groups of friends with apartments.
  7. You small groups should stop whining... a three man group isnt an SG its a TEAM!! A real SG should hit memeber cap asap... ours, the Nightspawn VG on liberty almost has a fully functional base. We have 2 teleporters, a med bay, a vault, enough energy/control to run everything AND we have almost enough saved up to buy a vault. One raid teleporter away from being raidable! To keep a Healthy SG community the BIG guilds usualy partake in guild versus guild wars. Smaller guilds usualy still exist in all games but they are just community groups. I think the Devs did a GREAT job setting up the GvG system, It allows guilds who WANT to be great to make war, and guilds who just wanna hang cant. Small groups should not benefit as much as large groups, not even for the PvE effects because honestly they havn't worked for it like our larger SG has.

    To note: if you leave their auto-follow range, then come back while hidden, they can no longer see you; you have to turn off hide for them to start following you again.

    This leads me to think that their AI locks on to you when you are unhidden, killing the mob spawn they are tied to.

    I was in a mission where the AV Baracuda is your ally... she scared me (i was soloing) so i pulled the mobs off her and killed them... then stealthed up to her to learn i couldnt attack... she couldnt see me until i took of hide but then she locked on just fine even after i had rehiden (in that mish she is a helping npc)
