Thanks for including my "Statesman and Recluse" in this issue of The Scoop. I saw that "Jesse" is credited for the work. I don't know who Jesse is, but at least that's a generic name. My toon name of Echonis or my real name of Shawn would be fine.

Anyway, I appreciate the work guys. Always a good read.

Thanks everyone. I really enjoyed doing this one, and I've wanted to do some CoX art for a while. I'm not a comic artist, so this was pretty challenging. I give big props to all of you that do this on a regular basis.

Below is the ad I am submitting. There was a lot of discussion in the other thread about whether or not to mention "the forums" on the ad. Immersion Breaking I believe it was called. It's for The Scoop , and I don't see any other way to direct players to the paper.

Snow_Globe recently requested opinions for several advertisements that he created to be used on the in game billboards. I submitted a design as well, but felt compelled to do more. Inspired by the comments in that thread, I set down to build an ad from scratch. It's taken several days, and the ad itself is still not type set. It won't take me much longer though. However, here is the final art design for the piece. Hope you guys enjoy it.

I got the primary color fill done. Still a lot of finishing work to do with shading and highlights, but it's coming along pretty quickly. From what I'm hearing, you probably wouldn't be able to read "The City Scoop" headline of the newspaper due to resolution. Well, here it is so far...

I guess you guys have inspired me to really put an effort into this one. I love the idea of Statesman and Lord Recluse doing the /e newspaper, so I decided to do something similar in art. This is still just the sketch... and not even complete at that. I'll continue to work on it to ink it and bring it into full color. Just no deadlines Scoops.

Okay, I would not normally submit (hence this being my first post ever) , but I figured I'd give this a try for you guys. Here was an ad I came up with for The City Scoop. I would never submit this to the devs without your rubber stamp. If you want to use it, you have permission to do so. It is the 256 x 256 size.
