  1. Hmmm. That could be part of my problem but I think I've since pegged it down to mostly bad RAM. I ran MemTest last night and it came back with 56 errors, so I'd say that's probably a lot of my issues right there.
  2. I hadn't played for over a year. I just came back to these issues. Very disappointing. I get random crashes, sometimes very quickly upon entering a zone for the first time after selecting a character, or sometimes it will go for quite a while. But my bliss never seems to last longer than 20 minutes or so.

Also my crashes do not usually kill the whole computer. The game freezes, the sound continues for a few seconds, then fades out. It will sit on the frozen picture until I alt+tab or ctrl+alt+delete. I have to Alt+Tab back to the game to get a crash box that I can use to send a report and/or close the game completely. Once I did get to play for a while and in the middle of a big battle with a team I got a blue screen o death!
  3. I just started playing again after probably a year or more. What do I come back to? Constant crashing that makes the game unplayable. I'd love to get this resolved. I just updated my PC before coming back with an Intel i7 860 processor, 4gb ram, GeForce 9500 GTS and 64bit Win7. Started playing CoX with almost completely fresh hardware and windows load. Now I get this constant crashing.

The crash times seem to be random. Sometimes I'll get to play for quite a while (20 minutes, maybe?) and other times it will happen pretty quickly. It happens always after logging in and choosing a character and seems to happen on other servers than my main one as well. I've tried compatibility modes, running as administrator and the "-renderthread 1" tag on the shortcut. Might be interesting to note that I'm playing on Steam. Any ideas?
