  1. The Halloween Event sounds great, I'm glad their doing pretty much the same thing as last year (forgot to get some of the badges/extra costume slot on my main character).

    I'm not sure if this has already been asked and answered, but if someone recieved the extra costume slot last year on Halloween, can they get ANOTHER extra costume slot this year? Probably not, but just checking.

  3. Oh, actually, there is something else. I think they should add (A. More reptillian monsterous heads (and just completely scrap the female one and make another; it just looks horrible, lol), (B. Make an Avian (bird) monsterous head (with matching monsterous parts), and (C. More monsterous costume parts (such as maybe armor for the legs, maybe a dragon head wearing a helmet, possible even a dragon tail).

    If by "get" you mean "pay for with Vanguard Merits", then yes. Level 35+, since you can't get Merits earlier.

    Hmmm... thought those were only for claws... Oh well. Anyway, I kind of wish (no, REALLY wish) that those Vanguard blades were available when you make your character, simply because they are the only claw type that really seems to fit the Tech origin well. I could base an entire character off of just those claws, but I wouldnt since you have to wait till 35 to get them. Just saying my opinion. Please dont throw insults at my spleen.

    Otherwise, WEAPON CUSTOMIZATION IS AWESOME!!!

    Yes, I believe I read somewhere that there are going to be freespecs and costume tokens given out at I11 (Probably so people can use tokens to change their weapon type if they want to).
  10. Masterminds are AWESOME! Or at least fun to play. I love the MM archetype, but I really dont like COV (just my opinion, dont throw insults at me). I wish they would add a Hero MM archetype (maybe called Commanders...?). This is probably never going to happen, but I wish you could actually switch your side (so a Villain could finally see the light and become a hero, or a Hero could turn evil). It would mix up the game a whole lot more, and add some interesting options and situations (imagine seeing MMs running aroud Atlas actually helping people, or a Defender protecting some villains). Maybe you would have to do a taskforce of some kind in order to switch sides, and the higher your level is the longer and more difficult the taskforce. Just thought that this would be cool. To prevent people from just switching back and forth constantly, maybe someone could only switch sides once a year...

    Just an idea.

  13. A bug fixing Issue would be nice, but for now I am content with the current Issue .

    I was just wondering, will we ever be able to get those "surfboard swords" that the Lost use and the Rikti used to use? I've heard a lot of people saying that they want those swords (who wouldnt? ).

    Also, for the Vet reward pets (which I dont have yet), I think it would be nice if you could (A. Name them and (B. Dismiss/Resummon them.

    And I just want to emphesise the color scale change that I mentioned earlier, since I really think that it would add a whole new level of diversity to the game, not to mention the fact that the wings and tail colors could actually be made to match more than a few skin colors .

    Otherwise, this issue sounds absolutely fantastic.

Ok, I've heard some people saying that more weapon customization options should be available at the start, at least enough so that each weapon would have an option that would fit each origin (like the Vanguard claws for Tech origin, and Yami bows for natural or magic). I totally agree with this, but I understand that they are still developing and selection will be slightly more limited to begin with.

    Also, on the topic of new powersets they should add....
    ELECTRICAL CONTROLLER POWERS!
    Seriously, I never understood why they havent added this... It just seems like an obvious powerset to me, lol.

    Again, these are just my opionions, but great work Devs! Keep it up!
  15. Shields sounds like a really cool powerset (even though its not coming out in I11 ). I'm kind of glad that they're coming out with some more medieval type stuff (mainly because I just like medieval stuff, and most of my characters are Dragons lol).

    I agree that it would be nice if we could go back and get the tutorial badges, since a lot of people (including me) made some of their favorite characters before they even knew about those badges, and bypassed them.

    I agree with the "more dynamic faces" comment aswell. If they could at least make the cutscenes better, that would be a start (the first time I saw a COX cutscene, I was beyond surprised that the characters' expressions did not even change at all ).

    I also think that the idea of TOTAL weapon customization (blade type, hilt type, blade decorations, hilt decorations, overall design, color, etc.) would be beyond awesome.

    Some more emotes would be kind of fun too.

    I also suggest replacing the little colored circle selectors in the costume creator, and replacing them with one of those grids where you can just drag the little marker anywhere over the spectrum, darken the color, or type in the "numbers" of red/blue/yellow you want (to help with reproducing the exact color you want again). Below is a link to the closet thing I could find for a picture of what I'm talking about.
    Color Scale Thing

    This actually doesnt look very much like what I was thinking of, but its the closest that I could find. I was thinking more of a square with all of the colors spread out and blended across it, and a bar on the side where you could lighten or darken the color. Hopefully you all know what I'm talking about, since the current setting has some problems with tails and wings (I have a brown dragon character, but they have the reptillian skin as your skin color, bur your wing and tail color as the Primary and Secondary colors, which doesnt match the brown skin color).

    Anyway, just some suggestions and opinions. Sorry for long post. I11 Is looking like its going to be great. Great work Devs!

    So Brutes are happy to give Tankers their cool toys, if they get a Scrappers cool toy? Sounds a bit unfair. :P

    However that said, I've never seen why Brutes couldn't get /Regen. If they think it's to powerful in the hand of an AT with more HP...then adjust the percentage rate of heal to make it match scrappers at current rate. Seems fair to me.

    Holy Cow, a reasonable response. Would love to see the powers shared equally. The previous response just said tanks because it was in response to a tank. I live on the villain side, but definately think the hero melee toons should get the same power options. It is the one and only thing that heros can actually say that villains have had it better.

    Seriously! I made a toon called Thunderball, and made him look more like a tank. Was going to make him an Electric/Electric Brute, but his costume looked too "heroey". He ended up as an electric/electric blaster lol. I would love some of the Brute powers for Tanks and scrappers (and vice versa).

    More on the customizable weapons; I at least think that the Vanguard claws should be available from the begining since they are the only claw type that would actually work well for a Tech origin.

    Also, it would be nice if the devs fixed the whole Gravity Propel power glitch where everyone sees diffirent objects. I always found this kind of annoying on my Gravity controller.

    Overall; Great job Devs! Keep up the good work!
  17. The Dual blades look really cool (especially with the option of diffirent blades for each hand), and I'm definitely gonna make a Dual Blades scrapper ASAP.

    Willpower, on the other hand, I'm not quite so excited about. Sure, its a great power to add, and will work for many characters, but overall it just doesnt seem as cool (Maybe thats just because it wouldnt really match any of my current characters, lol).

    Anyway, kudos to the Devs for what is looking like an awesome issue!

    Edit: Anyone know where I can find images of the new weapons? I've seen a few, but really want to see more. Oh, and any ideas on when this is going live (not on test servers)?
  18. Hmm... nevermind about the customizable minions... guess you cant customize them (awesome as that would be)

    As for all of the "I need Weapon A to make Character B, otherwise it wont look right for 35 levels", I actually agree. Stuff like powers, inventions, salvages, etc. Are great for getting at high levels. But costume parts are what makes the character who he (or she) is. The Vanguard claws look awesome, and I could totally base a Technology Claws Scrapper entirely off those claws. Running around with a Tech origin and costume while using normal claws would just look weird lol. The weapon appearance is simply for looks, and has no actual effect in combat, so I just think that they should be available to you from the start (I never quite understood why you had to pay so much to get a **** pair of rocket boots or special wings lol). This is just my humble opinion, so please dont hurl insults at my head. Please.

    Anyway, sorry for long post, but customizable costume parts are just plain awesome. (Seriously though, those Vanguard claws are awesome, and I just think stuff like that should be available to anyone who wants to make a character with a certain theme).

    THIS IS AWESOME! I am really excited for the customizable weapons thing... I was actually just wishing that they had this last night lol. It said that Robotics/Pulse rifle and Thugs/Dual Pistols is on there for options... does this mean that you can actually change the appearance of your minions? THAT would be awesome (seriously... all the bots look the same lol).

    Anyway, all I can say is that this is an update of epic proportions. You Devs are AWESOME!!!!

  21. Hey, I just wanted to know a few things.

    First: Can HOs be stacked?

    Second: Would 6-slotted Dam/Ran or Dam/Acc be better for an assault bot (Villains, mastermind AT, Robotics)

    Third: The new inventions enhances give extra bonuses when you equip them as a "set". If you could manage to make 6 of the highest level and power Damage invention enhances, and slotted them all on one power, would it be more powerful than one slotted with 6 HOs instead?

    I dont actually have a level 50 yet (highest is level 28), but I like to plan ahead
