YEAH U PUT LOTS OF WEAPONS WHILE I GOT SCREWED ALONG WITH MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVEMY SAME POWERS, I'M A FIRETANK WITH THE STONE MALLET,

Ummm first of all I don't think there are MILLIONS OF PEOPLE who ONLY play Fire/Stone Melee tanks - I'm sure other people try out some of the other power sets in the game, that's why you have more than one character slot... just sayin;. -
Here is my though about power customization. Is it possible to change the animation of a power if a costume piece is present? My thought is this, if you can't bring power customization to energy type powers (fire, ice, energy, electric) can we at least bring weapons customization to them?
Give players the option to use wands, staffs, swords, etc to shoot the powers out of instead of thier hands. Basically, all you would need to make is one set of animations for each weapon type that would cover the different casting times. You would then change the casting location from the hands to the focal point of the item.
What made me think of this is how the haste hands centralize when kheldians turn into thier nova form. This would of course require being able to somehow link the power to the particular weapon being held, which may not be possible. This would, however, take up much less time on the art department, and *should* (I say like I know) be able to use the same technology as the current weapons customization for tracking purposes.
If it isn't possible for a chosen weapon to force a different power animation, then perhaps a temp/inherent power could (note I'm only talking animation, not effects, most of the effects seem to go from point A to point B, I'd just be changing what point A is). This would allow those of us without weapons to change HOW are attacks are fired off, fire from a flaming sword, electricity from a mage's staff - or a "jacob's ladder". Just a though that I hadn't really seen mentioned.
EDIT: HAD to add some whitespace (er... bluespace). -
NOOOOOOO!!!!!
I'm in Ohio AND moving that weekend... the PPD Hardsuit is the best costume (IMO) from the halloween sets....
Why do the gods toy with me so?
Hopefully either PlayNC or a third party site will come up with another chance to win the missed costume like Massively.com did with the Comic-con one (by the way... DID they ever announce the winners?) -

Jay, having said that we are only allowed to have one cape, has ruled out us having things like loincloths, tabards, Mu capes, and flowing hair.

I have a toon with two capes...
2 CAPES, 1 COSTUME
I have noticed a difference in rendering between costume creator/character select model and in game model. CC/CS displays perfectly, in game if you look through the transparent veil you can't see the tux tails through it. Running on an ATI video card (Radeon HD 3870) - get same problem with capes and some other costume items while they are submerged in water.
OH and by the way - I want a tiara! I paid good money for the wedding pack, they could have included the tiara Sister Psyche wore, I mean the geometry is already there just add it as another hair style (veil without tiara, veil with tiara...) -
It just keeps getting better and better. NCSoft should have bought CoX from Cryptic a LONG time ago!!!
