Off the top of my head here is the build I now have at level 50, its pretty effective.

Full auto is an aggro magnet that doesn't kill all now so thats why its in there so late...

Bah Halo, the amount of alts you have it could push the number into the 100s! I wanna get all my toons up to level 22 by the end of feb at the latest, which will take some doing... but 1 is past that 2 are over half way and the other 3 should be ok. TFs FTW, start Posi at level 10 finish it at level 15! Boring but effective...

you can put any number you want in (minimum of 1) and leave all other toons where they are, the idea is not that we team all the way up just at the big DING-A-LING (every post I try to put that in ) so that people can make progress in their own way and own pace. I have some 280 level to attain before mine will all be ready so we're going to be looking at some time in the distant future, I'd say next Christmas might be a likely time, however I do intend on blasting these guys through fast, no hanging around twiddling thumbs, serious game play!!! Doulos spent ages base making and stuff but I recon about 350 hours should be enough per toon...

well deluge has signed up 21 heroes!!! wow...

The cool thing is everyone can play in their own way, just stop very near the 50 mark, make sure you are debt free and hey presto we all get this massive influx of level 50s.

Masters of the Altiverse is cool but the Big Ding-A-Ling is still my favourite! It says what the whole group is about. Rad and Blapper will be staying with their SGs but my other 5 will be in this SG (for story sake) and we can have an SG thread to keep everyone up to day on where we are.

I think my troller is going to be Ice/Storm... I know its uber but I love Ice Rink and I don't know what else is good to take.. maybe Ice Fire, someone help me out!

My PB/WS I know nothing!!! I freely admit that I know NOTHING about how to work them, am I right in thinking that:

Squid = uber blaster
Tanky thing = semi tanker
Human = all rounder

the more forms the less powers??? I know nothing about how they work, just cause I wanna look different to all other PBs and Warshades I'm tempted to go all human with them but I don't know the problems this may cause...

Following on from my own point really I had an idea!

Rankings done by level, just to make it easy to break down.

So you have:

Training: level 0-11
Dualitst: level 12-21
Soloist: level 22-31
Nukers/Grinders: Level 32 -40 (for want of a better name)
Epics: Level 41-50

All pretty obvious really.

Colours suggested are

White and Black: a little dull (personally speaking)
Blue and yellow: a little vibrant (plus the temptation to make a PP would be too great)

Logo suggestions: None

Name ideas: None suggested, working title, The BIG Ding

the flippant answer is to say tanking. Post ED tanks have suffered probably more than any other AT. Still love em though...

as stated in caps earlier you don't have to leave any SGs just have at least one member in the SG we make to stay in easy touch.

Personally I plan to do it in key stages

all level 14 travelling
all level 22 SOs
all level 33 slotted 32 power
all level 41 first epic

by the end of this we should all be experts in all the builds!

I don't mind waiting for others to catch up or anything, thats all part of team work, besides I will have 4 other slots to play on whilst I wait, might even go check out villains at that point!

are all in... in theory we could cycle members of the team and have even more than that ding 50... can you imagine it!!!

at one point, now I am saying I want to successively ding 7 toons to level 50 in one mission, completing a stable of 8 level 50s on the union with the the global chat handle Doulos. Simletaneous cannot be done, but we could in theory have 7 simletaneous dings of 8 heroes...

This is a long haul but would be SO cool!

My first target therefore has to be one of each AT, including khelds up to level 14.

What shall we call the group, because of its nature it will have to have everyone as leaders basically, it is an SG with a purpose... so function will far out weigh form. What colours do you guys wanna go for? Something that'll look good on all toons...

Sod it, I'm going for all 7! Each member can bring as many level 49.95s to the mix as they like! 5 minimum though!

I knew you 2 would be up for it... I imagine Powerswat probably would be too... get a 50 then get a Kheld or 2 up and running aswell it'll take ages to get this ready but would be awesome to see the list of heroes who dinged 50 in one list, on one mission!!!

Well after 479 hours I got Doulos up to level 50 in a mission that saw 5 heroes ding at the same time, it would have been 6 but 5 is still pretty good, I imagine that we have the record for a mass ding as well as people in one mission. Just how many were there, around 30?

My next target is along the same lines but a bit more personal, and a LONG way off. I plan on getting a minimum of 3 toons to level 50 within the same mission, I am considering making it 5, one of each AT, but that is a hell of a lot of game play!

I was wondering if anyone else would be up for this silliness, starting now becasue I imagine it would take some co-ordination, but look at it this way, if 4 other people agree to make a go of it with 3 toons we could have a ding of 12 heroes in one mission, surely that would be cool. If we had 8 people doing 5 then we could see 40 heroes ding level 50 within one mission... how cool would that be! Now the obvious mission choice for this would be (cough) dreck and that's a LONG way away from any of my toons.

I have:

Dark GC, Broadsword Regen level 27
Blapper, Energy Energy level 12
Radoulos Prime, Rad Rad level 15
Fire tank Frank, Fire Fire level 7

As yet no troller and no Kheldanian (with khelds in the mix you could have 56 heroes hitting 50 in the mix... oooooohhhh thats like a whole SG!)

If people are up for this team then I will make an SG to stable any toons that people want in there in there so we can check to see how we are doing with levelling, the target being they all stop with about 30k from 50 then we have a mass levelling frenzy.

If no one in interested in this, (and I know many altaholics out there who would be!) then nevermind I'll do it on my own, however if people are up for it then that would be so cool.

YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TO LEAVE YOUR CURRENT SG TO PARTICIPATE, just any alts you want in the stable could be in the stable. 1 Alt in the Stable SG would be essential though so you could monitor progress of others.

So whose coming?

Well, we got 5 dings together, would have been 6 if I hadn't run of and shot that totem, however I think that this is the current record of level 50 Dings at the same time... so that is something to be well proud of. I wasn't part of those 5, but I did instigate it!

Whilst you may have a (quite obvious) clue of where this is going, the complexity of the actual plot with its twists and turns will make it a bit of a better story that: 3 parts, conclusion, happily ever after, now that just isn't fun.

After all the joy in reading the last chapter is not found in the last chapter itself, rather the story leading up to it.

“Nice to meet you I’m sure.”

Electrify kept talking as if he’s not spoken, excitement burning in her eyes. “We can’t tell you much about the mechanical elements of you, we’ve had to order out of house but biologically you are fascinating.”

“Go on.” Said Blapper, knowing full well she would anyway.

“You are human in one sense, you bones, tissues and organs are all human and in the right place, however you were never born,” raising an eyebrow she muttered “to the joy of some woman who would ever have had to remember carrying quite the biggest child ever borne.” She caught herself, “it seems that you were grown, manufactured, your body parts all have a code on them, like a puzzle or something.”

“Like the code on my neck?” he interjected hoping to participate in the conversation, and failing.

“Completely different from the ones in your neck, that seems to be a model code, these are relevant to the location of the bones in your body, its quite remarkable how strong they are and how big, the only things I know that appear in paragon with that weight of bone structure are the Supa Trolls.”

“So I’m a…”

“Which you are very far removed from, there is not a trace of ‘dine in your body, no hint of any chemicals actually, it’s as if you were made like you are now. The only question is how they would make you so… so aware, there is no way any form of AI could have the clear communicative and responsive skills that you have.”

“So what are you saying?”

“Indulge me whilst a test a hypothesis. I’m going to say a villain name and I want you to tell me the first thing that comes into you mind.”

“Ok, I don’t know why but I’ll give it a go.”

“Circle of Thorns. Earth Caster.”

“Get off the ground.”

“Rikti. Chief Mentaslist.”

“The conclusion can only be this, either you have a synthetic brain that they have only part programmed, very expensive and not very Crey, or you have the brain of a hero who has fought and defeated all these things, which makes you someone else.”

“Ok, Electrify was it, you’re telling me that they took my brain, whoever I am and put it in this body, then what, reprogrammed me?”

“Yes, or no, yes someone else’s brain, no, they only partly reprogrammed you. If you were fully reprogrammed you’d be off doing Crey dirty work right now.” Electrify looked at him then placed her hands on her hips, “Or then maybe you are a spy?”

Blapper slapped his hand on his forehead, “Oh yes, that’s it I’m a spy trying to find out what I am?”

“No need to be glib about it you know.”

“Sorry, I’m just having a weird day.”

Aeronaut strode into the SNHS base removing his helmet as he did, the call had come through that a new Crey weapon had been recovered and he had been asked to collect it, he hadn’t been sleeping much, the city was busy and the Rangers were still recovering from the death of Doulos a few weeks before, he was tired and fed up, the last thing he wanted to do was look at some gizmo the SNHS had recovered through microscope. Raylin pointed him in the direction of the room where the gizmo was being stored, he stifled a yawn and walked into the room, Tufty and Electrify were deep in conversation with a third person, who he could only describe as a giant, “Sorry Raylin told me we had some new gadget in here that you wanted the tech department at the Rangers to look at, some kind of weapon?”

“That’s me.” Said the giant in a booming voice, Aeronaut noticed as he spoke his jaw was made of metal that blended into a metallic plate in his neck then his right shoulder before joining to a massive mechanical fist which stretched towards him as if awaiting a handshake, “Hi, I’m Blapper.”

“Right, there must be a mix up, sorry to interrupt, I know nothing about biology.”

Tufty caught him on the arm, “Aero, Blapper is a blaster, that arm of his is a cybernetic biomechanism that generates vast amounts of energy, he’s a blaster, just like you.”

“There is no blaster just like me.”

Tufty smiled, “I know that but take a look, the arm is damaged, I’ve spoken to Frozen Rogue who has agreed that you are to take Blapper on and train him until he has enough control to look out for himself.”

Aeronaut swallowed a curse, then he swallowed another, and another. “Well if Frozen says it must be so.” He said rolling his eyes, “How did you damage the arm?”

“Jurassik hit him.” Interjected Electrify. “Twice.”

“What?” said Aeronaut raising his eyebrows, “And it’s still in one piece.” Eagerness twinged his voice, “Let me have a closer look then, can I use you worktables?”

“Of course.”

Aeronaut shook the hand that still waited for him, but he wasn’t paying attention to anything but the arm, “Come with me Blapper, you’re in safe hands.”

“Ok.” Said the confused giant. “But if anything goes wrong then I’ll blame you for it.”

“What did you just say?” said Aeronaut, anger suddenly flashing across his eyes.

The giant recoiled slightly, “Sorry, I was just making a joke.”

“Right.” Aeronaut said bluntly before taking Blapper by the arm and nearly hauling him out of the room, Blapper looked over his shoulder at Tufty with a look of near panic, she smiled and gave him a thumbs up. “Let’s see if we can’t figure out what you are then.”

Somehow Blapper was more worried about what Aeronaut might do to him than anything that any SNHS member would.
