You know, I'm just glad they had the wisdom to wait until 1/3 of the country was stuck at home with time to actually play task forces before they took the game down with 30 minutes notice in the early afternoon. That way, they not only irritated those who were playing the strike targets, but also people who'd planned to use the late afternoon to get one in before the wife came home.

    Seriously, does anyone look at server load before they decide on an emergency fix that only effects people playing at a level where they ought to KNOW to read the "URGENT" messages?

    Can you tell I'd just started the final Statesman mission when they sent their "oh, by the way..." message? It's nice that there's no snow in Austin, but you people do get NEWS, don't you?
