Ok, i just finished a new approach on my fire/dark build, trying to fit in the new information and decisions:
Since some defense paired with decent recharge, sounded pretty good to me, i tried to build for it.

last skill (inferno) could be switched with something else, but there is no way going without it atm, when i haven't at least tested it once
i am sure there are still some mistakes, and powers that could have been slotted more efficiently. looking forward to your opinions on it.

Thanks to everyone for the great help, so far!
I slotted most of the powers in my build to get the recharge set bonus. My goal was to reach perma-hasten, but I think I was wrong about that, since the price is too high (overslotted attacks, acc in HT and so on) at the moment.
I will definitly try to take fearsome stare earlier and try to fit in Blaze and Fire Breath. I did not take Fire Breath because i am no fan of narrow cones, but i will give it a try. Blaze will replace Blazing Bolt.
The idea of Blazing Bolt was to be able to single nuke tough enemies of a spawn while they try to get out of my RoF, but on a second look my other single target skills will be able to do that even better.
Regarding Inferno and the Dark Ancillary Pool the idea was to chain:
Soul Drain, Aim, Inferno, CaB, Dark Consumption
on a already debuffed, feared/stunned crowd. But since I am new, I can only speak theoretically of that combo, so i would be grateful for your opinion on it.
Last but not least, thanks for the Info about Panacae and LotG. I will leave Panacae out of my build and will try to farm LotG. Since I am playing Hero-Side (Started in Pretoria), I wonder if I could buy LotG- recharge for Hero Merits as well?
To sum it all up, I will not build for perma haste anymore at the moment. I like your build, Rodion, thank you very much. Though I wonder if building for range defense isn't a bit too much since I already have many to hit debuffs and some crowd control. Of course there is always a difference between stuff that is active all the time (like defense) and stuff you have to apply first. Is there someone who tried ?/dark without defense, and could share some impressions about it? -

i am playing coh for nearly a month now and have been a lurker to this forum ever since.
i finally decided to roll a fire/dark corr as my mainchar, and would be happy about some advice regarding my build.
There are two things I want to do with my corr:
1. Playing solo (AoE-Damage, Survivability)
2. Grouping (Support, Damage)

I do not know which sets are expensive, but since I do not have all that much inf, i figured that it would be best to build without purples
I see two possible weaknesses in my build:
1. Mez Protection
2. Endurance Recovery
So, what do you think about it?
