I can't agree more. I'm really clumsy with most traditional materials.

When I ink IRL, I use a micron pens, but it sucks if you make a misake -- covering it is more difficult than just cntl-z >_>

I usually draw a plain skeleton and have other people critique it. Practice makes perfect. I also have one of those little wooden statues for posing. Reference pictures help, books help, etc.

1) What kind of paper do you use? What is that blue-ish paper for drawing I see? Cheap sketchbooks :x
2) Pencil? Cheap mechanical pencils and micron pens
3) Any stencils or rulers? nope.
4) What should I practice on? Movement, body, etc? Realistic anatomy. I don't recommend trying to venture into 'styles' until you have real anatomy and posture down.
5) I am focusing on Smurfs, and "Fusion or Simplistic style" - okay.

We've had a few pieces that the red names have ultimately said we can't use.

Usually last minute too which is a hazard, but I do have good news...

Thor's Assassin will be heading up with art again! YAY!!!

You know I'd love to do an art centrical issue.

Maybe you guys can PM me some ideas and I'll bust my butt in getting something sexy[but not so much so that Lighty or Ex gets upset] going?

I'm not sure anymore what governs the right and wrong of art. I've seen things sneak through that were deemed appropriate when I was even questioning if they'd make it through even if I thought they were okay [I was raised liberal, so it's hard to toe the line with me], and there have been a few points where things that were not too bad and were asked to be removed.

I hate to say it, because it may seem unfair and unbalanced, but it can sometimes be situational.

I'm going to talk to the red names and see if I can somehow make up a better explaination for ya'll soon.
