    Well good for you.

You're in a rather small minority. You're what datamining dismisses as an anomoly.

I really dont think it is the case. If he is able to do these things he should keep his mouth closed about it and not put stuff like this on the boards. This is what leads to nerfs and such. If they were to nerf everytime someone like him posts stuff like this on the boards pretty soon no one will doing hardly anything as PUG. It will only be l337 players in certain SG/VGs that will be able to do the trials and such. For those groups I can see folks easily being eliminated just because you have the wrong build. How unfair will this be to the casual gamer that does not read the boards. I really fear for the casual gamer at this point because everything will be so beyond their reach.

Communication like this leads to honest evaluation of our tactics by both the devs and players. This evaluation leads to a better game. A better game means more people having fun.

We're on different sides of the fence when it comes to your desires to have the old days back. Those old days didn't go away because of communication like this. They went away because they were detrimental to the long term health of the game itself.

Lets keep the feedback to the devs coming! It doesn't matter if it's 30 minute soloing of TFs or coming up with ways to double Fort from 1 empath, keep the communication flowing!

1st time poster so sorry if wrong format/thread -
I have played COH/COV a while, starting with some (hate to admit) un-imginative characters. I have started creating and playing with charavters I like a whole lot more now, now that I have gotten into the feel and flow of the game. Problem is that some of the characters I have all but abandoned have collected a LOT of Influence.

My only option with these characters is to 1)Continue to play these guys due to amount of time invested and influence collected OR deleted the character (and influence saved) and start from scratch with my other character(s).

That's why I began to think about how it would be great if a type of 'Influence ATM' could be created for the game world where heroes could deposit/bank Influence. That way if you wanted to delete an old character and start fresh, all the long hours spent grinding and all that influence built up would not be 'wasted'. Players could then create another character, start to play, and visit the 'Influence ATM' that can be stored under your loggin callsign and password so you can switch over/access your built up Influence.

What are the chances of making that happen? My only other best option now is to meet some new person on-line, ask them if I could give them all my old character's Influence, switch characters, then ask them to give most of it back, HOPING they don't disappear with all the Influence I just gave them.

Finding a trustworthy friend to help you transfer your influence and such to another alt isn't that tough, really. And with over a trillion influence out there, influence thieves aren't really a big problem.

There are plenty of people who will join on cross server trades as well! That's where you give someone a bunch of influence on one server and they give you a bunch of influence on a different server. The net result is that you get an influence beachhead on the new server and can afford those DOs and SOs easily.

I can promise you this, if Pet A.I. ever gets fixed you will see healthier numbers of people playing different powersets instead of the constant FoTM builds.

I doubt that. I really doubt that.

Agreed. You so beat me to that reply, Bill.

Posi, any idea/workings on the bug of becoming disconnected from yourself?

    As in:

You enter the mish. You move forward like normal. However, your teammates observe that you are still at the gate. Even though you are right next to an enemy, when you attack you get the message "out of range". Only way to fix is exit re-enter the mish, or get a teleport.

I have not suffered this as of yet, but i know of a few people who have on Victory.

My finacee ran into this issue two days ago on Pinnacle. It was a devil to figure out! It looked like the mapserver and the client were out of sync, so I guessed that tp would re-align the two. It worked, but I have no idea if my guess as to the underlying condition was anywhere close or not.
