Alright, so I made this toon for PvP and I'm getting up to 50, well I'm 25ish, and it's time for me to start thinking about slotting seriously. I was going to search for a thread about EM/WP but with all the constant nerfs CoX is known for I figured a more up-to-date thread was in need lol.
I plan on going with SJ and fitness for my pool powers atm, that may change throughout builds. I like to BE a stalker. Stay out of sight and stalk my prey until I'm ready to pounce, kill, and get the hell out of there(the thrill is in the process of this) so anyone have any builds or thought on the build?

EDIT: Also, I am clueless when it comes to stalkers mastery powers, any advice on that would be nice. -

Thank you all for replying, I made my EM/WP this morning and she's already 17 and I'm loving her!!! Thank you very much. I also got in a very awesome vg which has 900members!!!! can u believe that lol Thanks again!

lol alright! thank you guys, I'm off to go make my character! I think it's my first character on freedom too lol Thanks again been a lot of help, I'm sure I can fit WP in somewhere to my characters story lol

lol sorry if I sound like an idiot with the build, i'm trying to keep it themed, I'll probably be able to keep energy melee just looking for another power set now from the list on my other post.

A lot of people are saying no to the ninja thing so I'll take their advice.
For my attack what do you guys think would roll better: Claws, Dual Blades, Martial Arts, and if those three absolutely suck, I'll probably go with Energy.
For my other powerset hows super reflexes, regeneration, or dark armor? -

wow fast reply THANK you! I'm up for the challenge. Do you have any good advice on what I should focus on? like recharge? regen? ect.
I'm am actually new to the ninja stalker so I don't know of any of their weaknesses but I plan to find out while leveling. -
Alright so, never have been to big into PvP into this game, I'll be honest. I think it may have been because my server is pretty dead when it comes to red side and most PvP. I have a few questions relating to PvP.
1. I'm looking for a server that has good PvP. I mean, That there is always people in Recluses Victory on both sides.
2. The reason all this came about is because I created an amazing toon and I wish to recreate it for PvP purposes. It's a Ninja sword/Ninjitsu Stalker. Can someone say ninja? lol I need to know what I should look for when it comes to building a great build.
3. Does the server from question one have a high population of villains?
That's all I really have, I don't want to know EVERYTHING about PVP just need some info to get started. I would like to thank all who actually read this post and double thank all who reply

Alright guys, sorry for being wrong don't have to hate so much. I didn't know that they have stated they aren't raising the level cap. As for this discussion it has gone way to far off topic and I never meant for it to, I was just mentioning the expansion.

The level cap was 50 long before villains came out. The level cap for VILLAINS when CoV first came out was 40, and they were increased to 50 to match heroes shortly afterwards once the Grandville content was completed. The developers have stated multiple times that they don't have plans to increase the level cap and that it would, in fact, be a bad idea.
So the rumors you've been hearing are almost surely false ones.
After that totally off topic post. I think the majority of the players tried Champions online, there were some like me who thought the game was just a craptastic game and there were others who liked it, and left to it.
I honestly think CoH is one of the more popular mmos out there. Yeah theres LOTRO and WoW, but I don't know many people that have left to those games and stayed over there. They all usually come back. We will probably see a lot more people when the new update comes out, level cap or not. -

Another rumor is that you go through a portal to a new dimension kind of like Recluses victory and in that zone you are either, hero or villain.(your choice) That's what rumors are but I have yet to see any proof. -

I haven't played through Electric on a tanker yet - I did roll an electric armor Scrapper - but a lot of the resistance based sets get good early. One advantage of Fire is that everything in the primary that directly contributes to your survival is available by level 12.

Yeah Pinnacle isn't what it was like in it's prime, but it's still pretty awesome and still has that different sense of community you don't get from the other servers. -

A bad guide would be so damn good that a person wouldn't need to play one or work anything out for themselves. I have with another game seen such a guide that made me think well I don't need to play it now. For me A to B stuff is cool but the B to C stuff should be left open for people to discover for themselves. -

About a year ago I started a little personal project. I wanted to level every tank primary and secondary to 50 using as wide a variety of content as possible.
I am now about 24 levels from reaching my goal. I will then have a total of 500 levels of tanking, covering every shred of blue side content, every possible team composition, and nearly every power available to a tank.
I intend to start composing a tanker guide soon to catalog my experience and share what I have learned along the way.
If anyone out there in forum land has any specific topics or questions they would like to see covered, now is the time to drop a line.
The plan is to finish the final alt in a month or so and put out the guide soon thereafter.
In the meantime keep on tanking.

I think that you shouldn't focus on just one tank though because you have everything out there. You should focus maybe on a guide for a whole primary and the healthiest ways you can play that tank. What I mean by that is not just write a guide on one tank, that would be a waste of your experience for all your other tanks, instead write a guide for the tanks primary and in the guide provide information about all the possible secondaries for that primary and how well they combo with it.
It's definitely a lot to ask, but you have done a lot of work, and unless you plan on doing more than one guide, I think it's best to put your expertise more to use than just one tanker. Maybe even just write a General Tanker guide.
I have been tanking since 2005 in mmos and in city of heroes, even with my expertise I would love to hear what you have to say, I would read it even if I don't have that type of tank lol.
