    Thanks.

I'll be there at 8:30 EST with all sorts of temp goodies.
  2. 9...? Is that 9 eastern?

    I'm terrible at conversions.

I'll try and be there; Hero Man has a hold too.
  3. Thanks to the folks that helped out my Defender, Worm Synergist, with the second half of this arc earlier this evening.

And another congratulations to the lucky soul who got a purple drop while doing it. If that isn't positive reinforcement, nothing is.
  4. No, but you can complain about PvPers who read the forums looking for dates and times when people will be in PvP zones preparing for raids, specifically so they can hunt them down and kill them with ease.

Now, blame the PvPers? I wouldn't dream of it. I blame the Devs for putting that **** in a PvP zone in the first place.

  6. If memory serves, last time we did this we did really well, only a death or two that could have easily been avoided with inspirations.

If we get a good team together, a "Master of" could be very doable. I'll be there on Hero Man.

Edit: I'm in a Hami Raid (second one tonight), so unless the start is delayed, I will not be there.
  7. Sure, take the week off. Remind people that the Hamidon Raids aren't just something that'll always happen every weekend. Participation is necessary to keep this going, same as any other event.

Next week there will be a resurgence of activity, I can feel it.
  8. Here's some things to consider.

It doesn't take that long to make a character.
    Players can save/load costumes.
Players can transfer money between servers.

Maybe promotion needs to happen across all US servers to be successful. I mean, how many people, particularly at this point, start on Protector? The whole point is to help new players everywhere, right?
  9. It's a... mechanical joke.

You see, very little in this game is actually immune to anything. Powerful enemies can have very high protections and resistances to status effects, but if enough of a single type of mez is stacked the ailment will take effect, even if only for a little while.

You likely just didn't have enough confuse-type mez to get the job done. If you were, say, a Dominator who had activated Domination, you could have probably confused him on your own (assuming that particular spawn of Archon Burkholder was of Elite Boss rank).
  10. We started up tonight with a group of seven and ripped our way through the Leviathan SF at the fabulous speed of face-plant. But seriously, we got better as things progressed.

As we begun the final mission, Flaming Chihuahua regaled us with a story to pass the time. Something must have caught his attention, however, as he never finished. I still wonder about what happened to Defender and Scrapper.

Once the matter of that Shaper fellow and some big ol' eye were out of the way, we got down to the real reason we were all there, the massive Coralax ambush!

We fought valiantly and six of our seven managed to survive! Our poor fallen companion had to exit and put the childrens to bed. Overall, a fine run.

Also, a Leviathan run was done yesterday as well. I wasn't there, but I'm told only three managed to survive the gauntlet. I heard the Freakshow Tank Smasher that came along did a particularly stunning job at ripping the Coralax asunder.

So thanks to everyone for coming out for both of these runs (even if you didn't survive the real final battle).
  11. Leviathan it is.

We'll go back and run Sky Pirates at a later date.
  12. I've sent something to your Stalemate global name.
  13. What kind of required INF numbers are you looking at for this to be successful without dipping into funds meant for the larger event?
  14. Welcome!

That sounds like a mighty powerful AT you have there, Shisui. How do you like it?
  15. It is his computer, Blue.

And, again, there will be a party on new years; they usually start around noon and last well into the night.

Again, well wishes to everyone involved.
  16. Real taunts, no burping.

Maybe create a large number of options for various voice types with check style options so you an pick which ones you want to cycle through. (I know, that's interface stuff and it's always more work, but it'd be really nice.)

  18. My cousin doesn't have the game installed on his computer. And as far as I know, he still plays WoW.

Granted, if he did have it, I could crank the graphics all the way up and still run smooth. His computer is a beast, and it'd better be, considering it sounds like you're on a plane around it.

Besides, we always have a New Years party and other such merriment.

I could probably make a Christmas run, but I'm sure few others would want play then.
  19. I'd like to go, but I'll be in Georgia again for New Years.

    Best of luck to ya'll.
  20. I thought I recognized the letters AIB, but figured it could have been a coincidence.

Any who, welcome to the forum.
  21. And I'm Demon Shell. I tend to stick to the background, but those that know me regard me favorably (or at least lead me to believe as such).

Allow me to formally welcome you (or re-welcome you, as the case may be) to Protector, home of the New Player Council (NPC) and an irregularly high volume of skilled players. Despite our sometimes smaller numbers, we are every bit as capable as any other server and frequently hold raid events (at the time of this post, weekly Rikti ship raids (RtR) on Wednesday and Hamidon Raids (this merely being the latest topic about it) on Saturday).

I sincerely hope that you enjoy your stay as much as the rest of us have, and will continue to.
  22. Aside from wanting to play as a Coralax, the only costume piece on an enemy that I've ever wanted was Dr. Aeon's cyber-comb gloves from his appearances in the higher end Tasks.

When I first saw it, I was really hoping it would have been some kind of unlockable.
