Btw, I think I found another way of running this hunt, if not next tuesday, maybe in a near future, in case some of us can't earn Illusionist badge.

Last night I farmed a carnies mission in Union with a team of 8 people, it was one of the Carnival performance series (lvl 45-46 foes); a teammate pulled several Master Illusionists and 2 WS (Dwarf form) taunted them, meanwhile the rest of the team kept them immobilized; we managed to hold about 10-12 MIs farming illusionists at the same time, in about 1 hour all of us earned that badge.

Probably we could do something similar with the warehouse mission that Xemulas said, if it's really crowded with MIs, instead of running the whole Harvey's arc.

CoX was my very 1st MMO too!

I was used to play sport simulators (Fifa, NBA Live) and strategy (Roman Total War) videogames, besides I didn't like the idea of a monthly fee, but after using a 14 day Trial version, I ran to the newsstand to buy another magazine and use another 14 day Trial Code!! After that, I made my decision, I'd stay as long as this wonderful game would go on... 3 years have passed from that moment.

I've also tried some other MMOs, like WoW, I bought a trial version but I gave up and uninstalled it only a few hours later, I didn't enjoy it at all, I was a troll-like toon moving around hunting ostrich-like animals, I didn't understand anything, and no one was around to help me or explain me what to do, how did that work.

I'm tempted on DCUO or CO, but unless any of them can show me something REALLY spectacular, I'll be faithful to CoX to the very end, because of the fun, the customisation, story arcs, contacts, powersets, etc.

Not every German or French player understand English, and vice versa; maybe putting Defiant and Union in a Mayor English server could happen, otherwise your idea is not possible. I went into the test server last evening because I wanted to test the new ski slope, nothing weird happened.

I keep thinking that running Harvey's story arc using Ouroboros and Rugged / Unyielding reputation is the best idea; in fact my suggestion would be running each interesting mission twice (I've been reading that story arc description, there are Malta and Devouring missions, but there's a warehouse mission, as Xem said, with lots of MI's, that would be cool).

Updating... after installing the beta drivers, I've been able to play a full Cimerora tf without any problem on Saturday night, however last night I've had 3 nv4_disp BOSD during a MoSTF attempt (which concluded successfully YAY!!). I'll check my agenda and I'll look for a proper date to carry my computer to the tech service.

Well... I'm actually using both the game (I'm simply standing in Grandville) and Emule, CPU temperature is fluctuating between 58º C and 66º C.

BUT I'm wondering... CPU temperature is related to my nv4_disp blue screen problems in any way? If not, I'm worrying about something trivial. By the way, should I update my Nvidia drivers from 175.19 to 177.whatever are called now?

EDIT: I've been on a Recluse SF, or at least I was on the team that has played it, because I've missed Crimson and most of the Vindicators because of my nv4_disp BSOD... I lost my count at the 8th time, it's a shame from Nvidia, this is NOT the way it's meant to be played. I'll try to update my drivers one more time, and if the next week I keep having problems, as I bought this computer only 3 months ago, I'll carry it to the technician, and I actually don't mind if he can mend it or change it for another one, even if I have to buy an ATI, this is madness.

Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9300 2.50 GHz, 2 GB RAM. According to PC Probe II:

- External Clock: 333 MHZ
- Max Speed: 3800 MHZ

I must say that the actual CPU temperature is 51º C, after the whole morning using Emule but nothing else, not typing nor playing at all, I'll be updating with anything abnormal.

NP guys, then we are keeping the original date, it was only that I set that date because I though there were very few people interested on this badge, and fixing it in advance would help to catch their attention.

Sorry all for confusing you, it was something to came up to my mind about not wasting time and running it as soon as possible, but it seems that the 16th of September was ok for all of you; anyway, watching the great lineup we already have, I'm pretty sure that we will earn that badge no matter the date we are going to run this hunt.

AI Booster? I'll check again but I think I don't have that Utility in my CD... if not, I'll search on the internet where I can dowload it.

I've used my ASUS cd too, it has an utility called PC Probe II, which is giving me warnings about CPU temperature all the time when I try to use the game, even when I'm just standing, not moving nor fighting, I'd like to know what's a safe threshold for it, it's set at 65º C atm, so: is it right as a threshold, or shall I set it higher or lower? and... could I have an overheating problem? if so, what should I do to solve it?

hi Xtream, welcome aboard; watching the actual lineup, I think it would be better your controller, unless any healer show up on time, then there wouldn't be any problem for using your scrapper.

About the warehouse method what do you suggest, farming a carnies police band mission or farming the 1st mission of Harvey's arc?

Nicely chosen your toon Sarg, watching the people already signed I was about to ask for trollers, fenders and blasters, but... don't you have anything a bit higher Sarg? this story arc is lvl 45-50... unless you play with it and reach the minimum required before the 16th?

Well, the fact is you MUST defeat LR to complete the STF, so you obviously have to attack him; the usual trick is having an empath with the taunting tanker, who also has to use LOTS of luck inspirations, away from the rest of the team meanwhile they destroy the pylons (a good place is the door of the tower), and then the team gathers and defeats LR.

Beware, when LR has less than 1/3 of health bar he will spawn LOTS of pets.
