Hey folks, on Freedom, Strikeforce Infinity is hosting a melee championship. I posted here because of the pvp rep that Justice has, and maybe some of you guys play on Freedom too.

Starting in June, SFI will be hosting melee duel championships. Brutes, Tankers, and Scrappers are all welcome. All info can be found on our site at SFInfinity.guildportal.com. There will be prelims next friday night, show up at Pocket D and throw down, FFA style. Prelims aren't required for entry, just to get some rankings going.

This will not be a one time tournament, it's going to be ongoing, with title fights monthly for rewards. Enter at any time, fights will be scheduled ahead of time. Come out and crack some heads!

Daknah and Kiwi Army worked their way up to second, That Guy and Get Wreckd came in third, and Stealth Dame and Master of Hasu got fourth.

Klesk- Understandable. There will be more to come, including SG vs. SG, hero vs. villain, etc. This is just our first one, and if you don't want to compete, that's fine.

Everybody-You're more than welcome to enter any tournaments in the future if you want. If you want to do PvPEC, go ahead, there's nothing wrong with it. If you want to compete in our tournaments with PvPEC rules or something similar, then sign up on our site and let us know. So far we only have one person on our site requesting those rules.

So far we've had lots of folks in game and a few here on the forums saying they would like to join who haven't signed up on our site. There are billions of infamy worth of IO's to be given out, and anybody who signs up ahead of time will be set higher in the brackets. If we have a good turnout of walk-ins and late entries we will be allowing them most likely, but they will have to go through a preliminary round or two.

So I see that my super-intricate global pyramid scheme has been foiled. I guess we have to have a tournament now. Anybody who does want to sign up, please hit up our sign up site, SFInfinity.guildportal.com. Also, if you do, please remember to put your toon you will be using on the roster including AT. Several of our members are holding off on signing up until we have more non-SFI players involved, and we can't reserve your spot if you aren't signed up there, it only takes a few minutes.

We would like to start hosting regularly scheduled events, various rules and rewards. Heroes will be included in some future events, we just don't need capes cramping our style too much.

If you would like to see specific rule sets or events, come out and compete. We will be tailoring our tournaments to fit our competitors, not the complainers.

Also, I would like to say that we have had several villain-only tournaments in RV, but all the fights ended in draws. It seems that villains are mysteriously immune to villain attacks there.

I did forget to mention one thing, I'm fueled by tears and forum flames. Thanks for the cut and paste action, Mercury. I was in a hurry when I posted.
