Hello Jello Shooters!!!
It's Saturday and that means it's Countdown time! We hope to return this week (baring any technical difficulties) with a very exciting show. We got some great new songs debuting on the countdown as well we have some exciting changes in the lineup and most importantly a NEW number one song. We will also throw in some new music, some requests from some awesome listeners, and throw in a couple special announcements as well. So tune in today at 1pm EST right here on KJSR.net! -

I really wish I could make it but I can't. Turns out as a PERC rep I signed up for judging Mr. & Mrs. on another server that night! I am soooo BUMMED! Like Nibs, I'm going to do my best to get over there at some point and at least say hi! I wish you best wishes Madame M. and crew with the event! Your Masquerade ball was so much fun and highly enjoyable so I was so excited to show up! I hope everyone has fun! Stay Marvelous for me!

It's a shame that there haven't been more people signing up. I even looked up the other server entries and most didn't have more than four to six total. I mean, sure I like having fewer people to be compared against and having a slight chance to win after competing both times and not getting close... but really don't want to be the only one in my category.

Originally we did plan on 1st, 2nd, 3rd but we had so many great contestants we decided to do a 1st place male and 1st place female for all categories. On top of that everyone whom participated received at least the third place prize money. Everybody was truly a winner at this event. -

With the holidays right around the corner and The Chalet opening up for the season it's time to celebrate! Join P.E.R.C. for a festive time that is guaranteed to be full of celebrations, contests, and more. All Champion players are welcome, this includes heroes and villains! CHEERS!
Holiday Hamidon Raid
The Hive @ 7:00PM EST.
Details: We kick off the Holiday Event with a heroside holiday hami raid! Dress up in your best holiday attire and join us in The Hive as Cherry-2000 & Miz Nibbles lead us into battle against the villainous fruit cake!
Holiday Cheer Costume Contest
Pocket D Chalet Bar (Bottom of Ski Slopes) Immediately Following Hami Raid (Approx. 8:00PM EST).
Details: Following the Hami Raid, join us at the Pocket D Chalet Bar (located at the bottom of the ski slopes) for a Holiday Costume Contest. We're looking for anything holiday inspired; this includes Elves, Santas, Snowmen, etc. We will begin forming up for judging starting at 8:00pm and judging will commence promptly at 8:15pm.
Judging Details: A panel of players will be compiled to judge this event. Judges will be voting on creativity, originality, design, and overall concept. All costume parts should be holiday inspired and deemed appropriate for winter festivities.
Prizes:
1st Place: 15 Million Influence / Infamy
2nd Place: 10 Million Influence / Infamy
3rd Place: 5 Million Influence / Infamy
Bah Humbug Costume Contest
Pocket D Chalet Bar (Bottom of Ski Slopes) Immediately Following Hami Raid (Approx. 8:00PM EST).

We're looking for anything anti-holiday inspired; this includes Scrooges, Lumps of Coal, Misfit Toys, etc. We will begin forming up for judging starting at 8:00pm and judging will commence promptly at 8:15pm.
Judging Details: A panel of players will be compiled to judge this event. Judges will be voting on creativity, originality, design, and overall concept. All costume parts should be holiday inspired and deemed appropriate for winter festivities.
Prizes:
1st Place: 15 Million Influence / Infamy
2nd Place: 10 Million Influence / Infamy
3rd Place: 5 Million Influence / Infamy
Father Time / Baby New Year Mission Race
Pocket D Chalet @ 8:30PM EST.
Details: What event would be complete without some type of mission / taskforce race! P.E.R.C. invites all teams to join us at the chalet as we seek out to find the team that can race to save baby new year the fastest.
Judging Details: Teams can have a maximum of 7 players and a minimum of 4 players. A P.E.R.C. representative will join each team to proctor the team, compile race times, and monitor teams for sportsmanship and following game rules.
Prizes:
1st Place: 10 Million Influence / Infamy per player
2nd Place: 5 Million Influence / Infamy per player
3rd Place: 2 Million Influence / Infamy per player
Ski Racing Tournament
Pocket D Ski Runs @ 9:00PM EST.
Details: With the ski runs now open what better way to celebrate the holiday then racing, ski style! If you would like to participate in the ski racing tournament please PM Dazz_Marvelous (on the blue boards) and let him know you want to race.
Pre-qualifications: Pre-quals will begin at 9:00pm EST on the beginner slope. Players will race three at a time and race to the bottom of the slope where a judge will stand by to determine the winner. One winner from each round will be selected to move on to Semi-Finals.
Semi-Finals: The winner from each pre-qualification round will then race two at a time down the advanced course. One winner from each round will be selected to move on to the Finals.
Finals: The remaining winning contestants will then race against each other in determined cycles till a winner is crowned on the advanced slope.
Rules: Travel powers only! NO BUFFS ALLOWED (Speed Boost, Inertial Reduction, etc.)! Players are not required to follow the slalom poles. Its simply a race!
Judging Details: A panel of players will be compiled to judge this event. Judges will be placed throughout the slopes to determine that best practices and sportsmanship are followed.
Prizes:
1st Place: 15 Million Influence / Infamy
2nd Place: 10 Million Influence / Infamy
3rd Place: 5 Million Influence / Infamy
Snowball Fight!
Pocket D Chalet Folloing the Ski Racing Tournament (Approx 9:30 EST)
Details: Ending the event P.E.R.C. invites all attendees to join in on a massive snowball fight!

Saturday is here which means it's time for another round of KJSR's the Countdown! Today's show is very awesome for a couple of reasons! First, we celebrate DJ Kyo's Birthday today, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DJ KYO. Second, we celebrate my own birthday tomorrow, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAZZY! And finally we are happy to say that thanks to you, our loyal listeners, we have a brand-new number one song. HELLO ALL & HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
Keeping with my new radio show tradition, I am planning to do a Top 20 Countdown of Holiday Songs (just like I did for Halloween); this show will air at a special time on Christmas Eve (instead of my regular Saturday spot). This time around it's time to post up your favorite songs of the holiday season to see if they can make the list. This one may not be as predictable as the Halloween songs so I am very interested to see how you all respond! I also am trying really hard to showcase the most original versions (the classics) of the song as well. This isn't to say you can't nominate a rendition done by newer artists, groups, bands but it is more than likely that the song played will be a more traditional, popular, and familiar version. But go ahead and post away!

If the lighting in Pocket D is a problem for costume contests, there is always the Rikti War Zone, especially now that it's open to those at any level. Just don't hold an event there Thursday nights.
I know you were joking but some people do think that CL! And I'd like to work really hard to get rid of misconceptions and work with all you awesome people to make events more fun for all! That is truly what we ALL (not just PERC) are about when it comes to running events! We do this for the community and to have fun and to take this game beyond any other and do those wild, crazy stuff no other game can possibly do!

Like I said before, we actually just did do an event villainside and didn't have much of a turnout (about 3 players, a few more straggled in after the contest had started). Like Nibs also pointed out the lighting in Pocket D is horrendous for judging costume contest (in my opinion).
I am more then happy however to show love to red side. Like I said previously I'd love to get in touch with players who play more along red side and devise some Red Side only type contests as well. If you would like to send me suggestions or feedback shoot me a PM and I would be happy to review, develop, and converse about them! -

That's cool. I was mostly curious because of all the criticism the AoW events got over letting AoW members participate in an objective competition. So are the SGs that the judges, for this subjective competition, belong to allowed to enter?
As such this is a PERC Event so we do have other PERC Reps from other servers come help judge to eliminate bias.
Everyone is allowed to participate whom is on Champion! SO COME ONE AND COME ALL!!!

This is completely false! We just ran a Halloween Event on red side and had THREE players show up (one of which had no clue the event was going on and two others who were just switching over from blue side)!!! We would love to support more red side events but every time we do one nobody has shown up! We don't understand the gripes when we have no support as well. We both need to learn to support each other whole-heartedly! If we saw enough villains players come forth and say HEY WE WANT THESE EVENTS AND WE WILL SHOW UP then we would totally do them. Let me know your thoughts CL as we always are trying to figure out how we support Red Side but still gain enough participation.
