Sweet!
Very much looking forward to seeing how Dash Bleu does with his shiny new Incarnate Abilities. Got his 2nd tier-4 late last night (Diamagnetic, so he's all set to apply to-hit and regen debuffs), and he'll be working getting his three tier-3s to tier-4 between now and Friday evening.

New weekly strike targets go into effect tomorrow morning, and it occurs to me that my main (rogue ma/sr scrapper) hasn't done one yet this week, and has never done the Temple of the Waters / Operative Renault strike force at all. I work til midnight PST tonight, and will be home just before 12:30am. Just wondering if there are other Guardianites in a similar situation who'd be interested in joining me for a very-after-hours SilMant run.
--Chris
EDIT: thanks to egor, Bloodpriest, and Brutal Cacophany for joining me on a quick Renault SF just now. -
Quote:Oooh! I'd love to get Dash Bleu (ma/sr scrapper) signed up for this -- esp. if it turns into an Mo run. This week I'll give Red Side a lil love and run a Lord Recluse Strike Force and depending on the AT's people bring I may even turn it into a MoLRSF!
Question: during an Mo run, do Incarnates lose the use of their Incarnate Abilities (as if they were temp powers), or can they still be used?

Quote:I've got a friend visiting from Japan from the 11th til the 22nd, but he and a mutual local friend will likely be going into town t'see a show the night of the 16th. If that works out, then I may be able to pop into Pocket D for a while -- Dash Bleu still needs a couple of Arena badges to complete the set.So with that I plan on hosting a FNFN on Sept 16th @6:30pm PST in Pocket D!

EDIT: thanks to Inkchild, Elle Gance, Machinae Supremacy, and Silent Lament for joining me on a quick SilMant SF just now. -
Would love to get in on this with Dash Jaune' (lv.38 elec/elec scrapper) -- thanks, btw, for his shiny new Sewer Trial badge.
--Chris -
Ack! I just noticed these runs start at 2pm PST.
I usually work 2pm-midnight on Sundays, so it's been quite some time since I last joined a Mothership raid. I got tapped to work the early shift (5am-5pm) today, so here I'd spent the day thinking that I'd punch out, head home, log on, and get in on some Vanguard Merit action -- only to find that it'll likely all be over and done with by then.
Ah, well -- happy raiding, everyone!
--Chris -
I'd like to get my li'l tanker, Dash Action Figure' (shield/axe, lv.44 iirc), signed up for this.

Quote:I would love to get Dash Bleu (lv.50 ma/sr scrapper rogue) signed up for the Thorn Tree trial. He's already got the badges from the Terra Volta trials, but please consider him as an alternate/stand-by if you don't have enough sign-ups for TV.Tree of Thorns (24-33) (from Sparcetriel in the Nerva Archipelago)

@Ariel: thanks so much for including me on yesterday's runs.
Badge or no, I haven't played CoH in a big group setting in months, so the chance to hook up with a who's-who-of-Guardian after all this time felt like a mini-version of m'very first Hami raid.
My time off has put me behind everyone else, Incarnate-wise, so I was thrilled t'see that yesterday's session had given Dash Bleu enough salvage t'craft m'first Alpha slot -- Nerve Boost, with the golden-yellow color of a moist, delicious Hostess Twinkie.
@Heri: absolutely do not sweat it. Truth be told, I blame m'self: I'm thinkin' it was a subconscious effort on your part to relieve the mounting pressure on the team's LRSF virgin (2 thumbs, pointin' at *this* guy) and much love to ya for it. We'll get 'em next time.
@Ariel: when's next time?
--Chris -
I'd love the chance to join your teams for both of these, Ariel. I can definitely get Dash Bleu moved from his temporary Villain status to Rogue before Friday, but he's a Scrapper (ma/sr). I'd imagine that might prove a little redundant/detrimental to the makeup of your current teams, right?
--Chris -
G'day, Guardian
The courthouse where I work is attempting to get a jump on local misdemeanants' tax returns with a limited-time program that allows qualifying defendants the opportunity to pay a single lump sum equal to half their balance owing, at which point we'll vacate the remaining balance and close their case(s). Our local CBS affiliate has one of their Edison Carter reporter-and-camera-crew-all-in-one guys down here, shooting footage in the Warrant Division, interviewing the warrant supervisor and the judge, and trying to get some quick interview clips with defendants taking advantage of the special offer. The full story is going to be on tonight's local news broadcast, either 5pm or 6pm. In the meantime, they've posted a teaser video on their website. At 00:06~00:16 and again at 00:25~00:31, you can see the back of my out-of-focus, recently-shaved dome in the upper left corner. :P

Dash Bleu has earned the "Warrant Clerk" Day Job badge! -
Quote:My badger (Dash Bleu, lv.50 ma/sr scrapper -- currently, a full Villain) still needs: MoSTF, MoLRSF, MoCuda, & MoITF.So couple of questions to you all:
Who else would want to do a MoCuda? IE who did I miss on their badgers apart from kazzon who I know about.
What's best for MoKhan: weekday morning or weekend morning? I'll set one up. Shoot me a tell, pm or post.
I'd LOVE to get in on the next MoCuda run (if, that is, I can beg my way on after missing the previous one due to oversleeping >.< ).
Thu/Fri/Sat mornings are best for me, just for reference ('Bleu already has his MoKhan, thanks to you, Capa).
--Chris -
Ack! Capa, I'm reallyreallyreally sorry I wasn't logged in this morning at the assigned starting time (especially after you went to the trouble of PM'ing me that SF guide/summary). My family went out to dinner last night for my cousin's birthday, which meant beer-drinking, after which my cousin and I went to a neighborhood bar, which meant even more beer-drinking, which meant that I completely forgot to set my alarm clock when I staggered off to bed. I *really* hope one of your alternates was able to help you round out the team and that my absence didn't unnecessarily delay your starting time. Again, you have my sincere apologies.
--Chris -
I'd love to get in on this with my main badger, Dash Bleu (lv.50 ma/sr scrapper). I've never played alot of redside, and never taken a villain beyond lv.28, so I have little familiarity with the Strike Force content. If anyone has a fave player guide to this SF they could link to, I'd love to do a little background reading before tackling it.

Quote:Unfortunately, my work schedule is Sun-Wed, 11am-9pm PST, so Sundays are usually not a very workable day for me, MMO-wise. Thu-Sat is super-easy, tho. :PSo, Dash if you can get your toon up to 44 for the next TF by Sunday AM TF or if you need it on another toon, I will take a couple of hours off on my Sunday AM to do this run and the Faathim run would be on October 10th in the AM.
Were you talking about starting time from a PST perspective? or EST? If you're talking about 8am EST / 5am PST, then I believe I'd be available.
--Chris -
Big thanks to Armeros for taking the reins and putting together our pick-up group, and big thanks to those who answered the call.
Dash Action Figure managed to ding 43, and finished the TF a few bubs past that point. Now I just need to get him up to 44 so he'll be able to do the 3rd Shard TF.
@Ampithere: if you make plans to run the 2nd TF, I'd like to sign up my other toy alt -- Dash Action Figure' (lv.42 shield/axe tanker).
--Chris -
I'd love to sign up Dash Action Figure (lv.42 AR/NRG blaster) for this. I'm free for either Friday or Saturday. Regarding the start time, I'm in agreement with Armeros: the earlier the better.
--Chris -
Quote:I was really happy to see that 4hr 51min completion time pop up at the end of the TF. I haven't done a Quaterfield TF in a couple of years (once my 5 primary Dashes had done it, I sorta put it behind meDr. Quarterfield was completed successfully. Once I get a look at my schedule for next weekend, I will post a date for our next TF.
), and I remember a time when it always seemed to take at least twice that long, and a few times we had to split the TF across a Saturday and a Sunday to get it done.
Dash Action Figure was able to ding twice yesterday, and now that he's 42 I was able to get alot of his slotting updated to lv.45 IOs. Looking forward to his new & improved performance levels on the next Shadow Shard TF.

Quote:Okay, so that's 9am EST / 6am PST next Friday, 9/10/2010 -- right? It's looking like complications my arise for this Saturday. So I'm going to have to push the start of our TF marathon to 9/10/2010 at 9:00AM EST.
Sounds good to me. Please sign me up. My preferred alt would be Dash Action Figure (lv.40 Assault Rifle / Energy Melee blaster).
--Chris -
I'd love to get in on this. I'll post again when I get home and have the chance to see which of my level-appropriate alts haven't done these TFs yet.
--Chris
EDIT: I have 2 alts that need these badges and are in the right level range (barely). Dash Action Figure is an lv.40 Assault Rifle / Energy Melee blaster, and Dash Action Figure' is a lv.42 Shield / Axe tanker. My preference would be DAF, since he needs the xp to catch up to DAF', but I'll let the team's needs dictate which alt I play.
