Again, I do like the Psi epic on my ill/troller and it probably makes sense to have psi resistance for this build (although I assume some of the bubbles help, right?) but I wouldn't take it just for the few AVs with psi dmg you will encounter. As we all know, there are ways of dealing with them and a decent team with the right ATs and power-sets will have no problem against any of these. Again, I think Psi Tornado is great, it's just a shame you have to wait 6 more levels to get it compared to Fireball.

I think i said several reasons why i took psi epics, not just the AVs, but oh well. In terms of survavility no other epics beats psi imho. I got fire epics on fire kin just for the fun of seein that already insane dmg output became so high that's almost stupid
lots of fun there hehe. But without fulcrum and syphon power, i'd always stick for kin on a fire/ff. On /kin u better boost the attack, on /ff the defense, if u ask me. (although fire will always do really nice damage no matter what secondary u got).

Or a troller that doesnt prevent aggro excess... well , being or not blaster's fault, its a fact that they usually pay the prize for the team's lacks, as they will always aggro loads. Referring to ur team, if the defender could AoE rez, then it was not an empath, but a dark defender, so it's main purpose would be debuff rather than heal. If the tank and the controller dont keep the aggro away from the blaster, that blaster will be usually the first to faceplant, no matter how good it is or if he dies due to his own mistakes or not either...
Yet, it's true that blasters are nuts. I still remember teaming with one who thought that blasters uber power was whirlwind... and before the rest of the team had attacked the mobs yet -

It used to be that fun ooooh yeaaah... sadly it was scr... ermmm.. nerfed when i6 was realeaed iirc (or was it i5?).. Well anyway, now they cant be used at the same time. U will still see the pff and hot feet animations, but u wont hurt nor aggro until u turn pff off

I agree with u, FF is by definition a defenderish set. In fact that's why its a defender primary. But what i meant by saying it was nefenderish at is that u active ur toggles on and u forget about the secondary (unless u want to buff a teammate). Thus u can concentrate in the troller primary while in battles. The statement was due to a comment saying something like 'playing like a defender', and the build can't be further from that due to what i said b4.

True, that's the main purpose, and u dont really need immob dur slots there, but didn't find a place where those slots were more useful that time. Endred is not really necessary, the build is quite 'light' and dont thing u run out of end just with ur primary

True, health doesnt help trollers as much as other builds, yet it's always a nice add-on, and pve intended no other power was more useful imo. Health will also save ur life many times, those times u u just survive by the peak of the red part of ur bar

Smoke is always useful, but wouldnt change it for any of the other powers previously selected. Which would u drop instead of it then?

Of course, psi resistance makes a difference at latter levels. After lv40 prolly the most feared dmg is psi. Babbage, the clockwork king, mother mayhem, that double AV mission in an asylum... they are probably the missions that tankers avoid the most (not fun for a granite being 1-shot me thinks), and yet, u can stand ur ground, often as the only survivor, having time enough to run for cover. Or if there are more survivors, to aid them.
Acrobatics, thus, is Mag1 mez protection... which is actually almost as having nothing. It's used as an anti-knockback toggle, but we all know any lt or boss will cut thru it like a knife thru butter. The added mez protection is, imho, very useful and handy. Shame it's not perma anymore, tho -

That's because rads defdebuffs, resist debuffs and regen debuffs havent been nerfed. If u got someone taking the aggro -or if u r illu primary, the decoys-, u wont really notice much difference with new nerf. But u sure will if u dont. Rad ToH debuffs, at least in trollers, are useless atm.

Oh, forgot! 6slottiing hasten, ull get only 6 seconds quicker recharge than 3 slotting it (6.4 secs to be specific). If u find that worth, u can always do it. I personally dont

Defender?? I tank AVs with that build lol lol.
Anyway, I find funny seeing that build as 'defenderish' when i got just 5 powers from secondary, 3 toggles and 2 ally buffers. Arguable, anyway :P. I never use defender powers in battles, only pff when in danger and heal while in it. It's a really active build, bearing in mind it took me 12 days lv1-lv50, soloing all the way from lv32 ( i was sick and didnt have to work, had nothing better to do hehe).
No need of interrution time reducers on medicine pool. PFF gives u the time u need even surrounded by mobs. Heal other is mainly for pets, and after battle (u'll find it useful mainly against exploding enemies like nemesis).
Leadership is useless in pve. Its base buff is 3.5 (or 2.5, cant remember), and really dont make a difference. They are useful in pvp to see invis guys, and thats it. -

Brief explanation of the /ff powers selected:
lv 1: PFF - The jewel of the crown. You are almost untouchable in it. Arguably, a pseudo Phase Shift, but toggled. Will save ur squishy [censored] in hairy situationsIf u ever get into trouble, aggro too much or simply are ambushed, just click on it and ull be safe and ready to hit the road. Unslotted it provides defense cap against all attacks, including psionics, 50% dmg resist to smash dmg and 60% to lethal dmg. 3 slotted, any defense debuff will just make u laugh (152% deffense if it wasnt capped to 95%).if surrounded, just turn it off, AoE hold and turn it on again for possible heals. Imps will do the rest.
Lv 4: Deflection Shield - Grants an ally with an extra 30% defense to lethal/smash dmg when 3slotted. Great for any AT, uber for defense-based sets.
Lv 22: Dispersion Bubble - An AoE deffense buff and mez protection toggle. Having a vast radius (easy to notice its boundaries as it appears as a huge bubble), 3 slotted provides a 30% deff buff against everything but psionics, and resistance to hold, immobilize and disorient.
Lv 28: Insulation Shield - Grants an ally with an extra 32% defense to fire, cold, energy and negative energy attacks when 3 slotted. Once again, great for every AT, uber for defense based sets.
Lv 38: Force bubble - u cast a huge force field that pulls back and knockbacks any foe trying to get close to u, in a way as storm's tornado does, but 10 times its radius (sadly without the ToH debuffs tornado has tho)

Hmm dont really agree with that. Its true that its powers maybe r not as shiny as others, but just in the surface... sadly i dont have time atm, will write again later on at night with a poss build, though

Took both sup invis and group invis in case it stacks, gotta try it out on TS first tho. In case they don't, i'd swap it for tp foe (acc, rng, rng).
Yup, arch, i 4-slotteed epic blast cuz honestly, i dont seem to need a redred on it. Can barely keep the blind/sw/blind/mb/blind... (even nicer with AM on), so, even tho its just a 10% increase, i think it's more worth than a recred

Logical request yet.. kinda unlikely to happen.
We all would like to have the preps ready the sooner, but coordinate 150 heroes is not an easy task. Find groups that make 8 peeps previously is difficult too. You know many peeps there and it can be a mess. Plus there's the social factor of the raids, and honestly think grouping up doesnt take that long (people tend to invite loners the sooner to have team full). Just a quick request for Illu trollers will do -
I'm interested on any respec, still have done none on my fire/kin controller. It's lv41, but will exemp if needed

1) Oh hell yes use Powerboost, as often as it's up. Just don't use Vanguard until the call goes out.
2) I don't know about hamidon damage-scaling but it's a good idea to SK to a level 50 anyway, so that you pick up a level 50 hami-O rather than a fairly useless level 45-49 one.

I'm prettty sure u get a lv50 hami-O even being lv45. What I don't know, is if u do being sked (u dont against regular AVs, if u r lv45 against a lv50 av, and u r sked by a 50 to lv49, then u will get a lv49 SO)
