  1. Hollows are okay, but I admit I like to get that temp jet pack before trying to navigate them I would definetly recommend going to Faultline as soon as you get the Jim Temblor (spelling may be off) as he's the beginning contact for the Faultline arc which is personally one of my favorites of the game. It lasts all the way into you're mid 20's when you take on Arbiter Sands as an AV (ArchVillian - very tough bad guys). Glad you're having fun with the game and hope you continue to enjoy it. Watch out for the Alti-sidis bug, its rampant in this game.

The other day I saw a blaster who was themed as a witch. A great bio, and electric blast/electric manipulation. Her outfit was pretty cool and her bio was enjoyable. Yet to my suprise when reading her power selection she had the munitions epic power pool. I noted that this witch would apperantly throw out a ROCKET LAUNCHER amongst her electric spells?

P.S I realise that sometimes it is thematically correct to have different elements etc, but you can only stretch it so far.

    Tailor location?

Oh there's tons. Steel Canyon, We've got one in Pocket D now, Independence Port, Founder's Falls, Rikti War Zone. I'm sure I'm missing one in there. It looks like a store icon with the yellow dollar sign on the map. The one in Steel is in the NW corner of the map
  4. Well personally I've done farming and I'm an avid RPer. I agree about the prestige bonanza in the AE. I absolutely loved it. I too have a little one player SG though I have a few friends who have alts in there. Yes I did PL one toon pretty far in MA, but not all the way to 50. But what i'm really going to miss is a certian boss farm my buddy did because of the insane prestige me and my friends were able to generate. We never did the comm officer exploit however. I suppose I at least got that out of it.

I don't have a problem with fixing exploits. I don't have a problem with farmers as long as their not selling their influence for real money. After all you can't get purples for instance out of the MA and truly I do think that a significant amount of the purple recipies out there comes from farmers (and no I have no data this is just a guess on my part ).

But yeah Op i feel the prestige withdrawl as well.
  5. Server Virtue
Character Name: Jenine Lethe, Jenine Robinton, Penelope Graves, Serenity Jones, Motion-Sickness. Honestly I think just about ever toon i've logged onto since I14 went live
    SG Name: The Match
When Do You Crash: Mostly shortly after loading. Missions and zones
Does it affect all your characters?: Yes
  6. Adding my vote to the keep the bug option. It looks great. At the very least a more in depth explanation for how it would be game breaking would make the dissapointment a little easier to swallow.
  7. These are great. Well done, well acted and just plain funny. Much props to you Stone Falcon. I hope we get more promo vids from you
  8. Whenever I start to feel old in this game I shall come back to this thread and revel in my fellow fogies. Lol this thread makes me feel young at 31 but the Nostalgia was great. And to the guy who named all the G1 Transformers, you rock. I actually went out and bought all three seasons on DVD... I'm such a dork. Anyways forgive me for skimming but some that might have been mentioned...

    -Remember the Challenger Exploding.
-Wanted to be Wonder Woman when I grew up.
-Literally jumping up and down as you got a Commodore 64C
-Wanting Mathew Broderick's computer in War Games.
-Wishing aliens would come recruit you for your awesome arcade skills (The Last Starfighter)
-Thinking that it was perfectly reasonable for Kirk to get alien booty on a weekly basis (granted re-runs )
-On the same note thinking that big foam rock looked /really/ real and that poor ensign who's name you never caught.
-watching the animated Star Trek series.

    And many many more.
  9. Okay, first off take a deep breath. Your obviously frustrated, but this is supposed to be fun. I'm guessing you must be having some kind of fun or you wouldn't still be here.

Secondly, have you played Regen on a Scrapper before? It's a very click heavy power and it only gets worse as you increase in level. Maybe you might want to look at a Dark melee/Willpower scrapper. The protections are toggles instead of button pushing. Basically you turn the toggle on and forget about it. This might help with both your dexterity and focus problems. Really with Regen you need to be on top of your health bar. Sometimes that last second heal is all that's keeping you alive. Plus if you're going with a concept toon Willpower is mostly about regen so it still fits. I know deleting a toon can be annoying, but if it's more frustrating than fun I'd consider another powerset.

As for guides/slotting; what works for one person may not work for another. Personally I put 2 SO/IO accuracy in all my attacks but missing is a big pet peeve of mine. Not only that but if you miss you still expend endurance and that's a big fat waste.

Like I said, think about the sets, if you have mobility issues regen just may not be for you. It's a fun build but even I get tired of all the clickyness. I tend to roll toggle scrappers anymore. I hope this helped in some small way

Edit: I thought of another possibility. Maybe you should set up the heals into some binds to that you don't have to reach as far on the keyboard. I bind my regen's heals to the "E"; "Q"; and the left shift key. Also leaves more room in your tray. Just an alternate suggestion.
  10. This is making my inner Gamer Girl Squee to no end. Now that I know I don't have to have a couple of giant curved Katanas it's making Dual Blades *A Lot* more appealing. New story arcs are always a good thing, and I'll be interested to see exactly what some of the new IO sets have to offer. I can't wait for I11. Thanks for all the hard work!
  11. Been ghosting the forums for a while, but I wanted to compliment you on this guide... or book... Anyways there's tons of great info in here!

The next two lists show particularly popular or unpopular particular combinations *GIVEN* the frequency of the primary and secondary. For example, Illusion/Kinetics is negatively correlated-- meaning people tend to avoid putting them together for some reason.

I have one of these currently at lvl 17. The problem is that In my personal (and very limited) experience this build does best as a scraptoller, especially at the low levels as I cannot speak for any higher than my toon.

Most Controllers have the mindest of stay as far away from the mob as possible. With Ill/Kin you want to take a melee from the travel pools (Air Sup rocks!) and get up close and personal... after you decieve the boss into being your buddy. I have no problem soloing on her and I have the feeling that once I get Phantom Army... Mwhahaha!

Anyway, thanks for all of the great info.
