  1. I don't mind group content. I genuinely prefer solo, but some parts of the game are just easier or more fun with a group. The conversion process for shards > threads > incarnate stuff is a mostly soloable option, but like others have said, not really a viable one with how long it would take, so yeah I guess I'd rather grind the iTrials with a team than grind other content 100-fold for the same end result solo.

That being said, I think the announcement was just poorly worded. I don't see if as an option for the player who prefers to play alone as much as an option to bypass content with characters you would rather not put through it. Of course, as someone pointed out earlier, even then it seems its (currently) an option to bypass the part of the incarnate path that was truly soloable, so I think maybe they should have thought that through a bit more as far as phrasing.

I'm hoping this is just a step on a path towards something akin to being able to earn incarnate slots/threads etc. with a preferred toon to allow you to just "buy" those slots for toons you'd prefer to avoid the trial-hassle with.
  2. Wow! Excellent amount of updates for a half-issue! I'm always a fan of new costume pieces, so I can't wait to try these new ones out. The pics I saw look really neat.

I'm also very happy to hear about the new Incarnate Trial. I like the current ones well enough, but they are sure difficult to want to play over and over and over again.

The new pet options are a welcome update. I play a mystic-type so summoning "soldiers" or "robots" really seemed a little bit of a far fetch - even if you take the off-kilter will of the Well of Furies into consideration.

Definitely liked hearing about the ability to send threads/shards to alts. Some just "earn" the stuff better/faster, so it'll make the process of ramping my alts up just that much less painful.

    Thanks, Devs - awesome job!

I absolutely agree! I love several of the villain archetypes, but I really prefer the hero environments. Being able to roll up any sort on either side would be great. Praetoria is nice and all, but the storyline gets pretty repetitive after playing it so many times.
  4. I see Nemesis as more of a Wagner type of guy though I definitely agree that Statesman is a 1940's music/big band cat.
  5. Black Scorpion's announcement that running the Weekly Strike Target is necessary to obtain a "Notice of the Well", a requirement for the Rare and eventually Very Rare Alpha Slot content is concerning to me.

I'm a mostly solo player. Not that I'm against team content - I often team, and every once in a great while join a task force, but most of them are so long, and I'm in that category of player that can't play for more than maybe an hour or two a night.

I'm hoping that it's taken into consideration that not everyone can participate in 3+ hours of gameplay at once, because as it stands, it feels like this is some end-game content that I may be cut off from as a result.
