As for what to do with MoG... I say it should be a click power that makes the next attack that lands insta kills us, right after we go nova and blow up everything on screen.

Im telling yah... They are going to make MoG a 10 second click that makes you blow at the end and die, doing damage to all nearby teamates. It will have the chance to disorient nearby villians for a brief time, and when combined with revive and recharges will almost be perma.
This will be the most uber power in the game when teamed with a large number of defenders that have vengeance, fallout etc... -
Im having trouble with my Invincible missions with my lvl 32 katana/regen, but mainly because I borked my respec.
Its been kinda hard to be motivated to play my busted toon.
Mostly because my BS/DA is running so smooth right now...

And that is why I qualified my story with the fact that I was using Claws as a primary and using Tough. Regen by itself is useless if the opening attacks from two Bosses is enough to put you down... except for Revive.

Heh... I can kill purple Lost bosses with my lvl 13 corruptor... I could never do that with my scrappers at that level.
Regen and invuln used to be a "quest for the holy grail" type powerset with you getting to lvl 28. Now they have a much more balanced power progression... Though now regen has become more front heavy than anything.
You get all your must have powers by your mid 20s, the rest is mostly situational.
I personally dont like having 20+ levels of "situational" power picks... But maybe thats just me
I will say one thing though, I am whole lot better at killing stuff now than I used to be (gameplay wise, not power wise). -

The scrapper forums have now been jerk hacked and will BE GONE TO THE AMERICANS! -
One thing about kin is that can boost its damage more than any other defender, expecially when combined with sonic blast.
Its also the only AT that can keep hasten up pretty much perma after ED because of siphon speed.
The only reason kin should have much trouble with DA is because of opressive gloom and cloak of fear.
Anyway, I had an interesting conversation yesterday with a controller I was teamed with in warburg.
She were quite surprized how easy she could hold an invuln scrapper with both unyeilding and unstoppable running at the same time.
Key word there was "easy".
When I explained that the devs had dropped the scrapper mez protection, the response was:
"Wow, thats a pretty bad nerf. Its not like I had much trouble holding them before. Now its just too easy." -

Havent tested it yet, but I would say kin would be good against DA scrappers and Fire Tanks...
Low defense and no knockback or slow protection.
Regen scrappers will be screwed against kin because of the - regen in transfusion. And thats all they get... -

Tanks are fine, if you don't believe me I'll show you the ones I play with. If I can tank 6 +2s and live to complain about it with my 'underpowered' sloting(he's an invun tank mind you) I don't think you've got ground to stand on for that one.

I got it!
IH will be turned back into a toggle, Dull pain will be turned into a toggle, and so will resislience.
Then, they will all be made exclusive to each other.
Since IH will be a toggle again, it will loose half of its unenhancable haling rate.
DP will be reduced to a 20% hitpoint buff.
Resiliance will get a "buff" and be made 10% base resists to all -psi, but will get a minor defense debuff to balance it out.
Oh... And they will decide MoG should realy be a "moment" and reduce its duration to 30 seconds. Recharge will stay the same... -

*shrug* I never wanted to play the villian, and really the only interest I have in CoV is getting the chance to punch "Statesman", if there even is such a mission.
I don't want to endorse CoV until they put some real thought and effort into improving CoH and not just slapping bandaids on it. The fact that CoV gets all the cool ideas talked about on these forums, all the cool upgrades, all the neat new fetures while all our heroes get is nerf after nerf is bad enough. I'm certainly not going to "approve" all of that by actually purchasing CoV.
That said if I get the chance to play it for free via the beta I'd do that just to see what it is all about, but no, my only long term interest at this point is the Incarnate. If that is good I might stick around, if it blows I think I'll be done with CoH for good.

You know what, I think Ive finally figured out how they will nerf regen. Its so perfect its frightening.
Using new cutting edge programming, players will actually recieve an electric shock through their keyboard every time they activate a power in the regeneration line.
This will reinforce the "risk vs reward" model.
As an added balance feature, every time you activate MoG a Cryptic employee will go to your house and punch you in the face.
This will help to keep player immersion at a high level durring play.

They are going to change regens animations to green versions of DA.
They will finally change MoG to be more in line with the "new and improved regen". It will become an auto power that makes you explode and die every time your life hits 25%. It will damage all enemies and teamates in the blast area... Except Blasters. -
