Lily sighed "Yes I knew that. I must say I was considering signing up too... besides someone's gotta watch your back."

Lily downed her coffee and touched up her make-up.

"Which club? Wanna race?" Lily knew her sister would accept the offer after last night, besides which, whenever they raced to clubs regardless as to whether they one or lost Lily would always make the more spectacular entrance."We don't have to race if you don't want too. I just enjoy the adrenaline before going out..."

Lily shook her head. What a ditzy b*tch! At least I remembered my "friend's" name... and got his number.

"That's no problem, I'm used to it. You're such a sl*t!" Lily joked. "Anyway, we having coffee or just hitting the clubs again?"

Lily waited and waited. She's always late. I can't believe she takes this long to get anywhere. We wee supposed to meet here for coffee half an hour ago.

She sipped on her second chai latte. Rose was rarely on time as she took forever to choose what to wear.

If she doesn't turn up soon, I'm leaving!

"That didn't take you as long as I expected? Did you cheat?!" Lily's voice was marred with accussation. "Because there is NO WAY you could have taken the same route as me and all other routes take a lot longer.... Especially if you obey the road rules"

Lily knew her sister would cheat, but never even run a red light.

She got out of her car and shock her head, her fiery red hair going wild as it had been wind blown. She wore strappy heels (similar to Rose) tight black pants and a leather motorcycle jacket.

"Well, shall we head up to the appartment?"

Lily dropped the clutch and put her foot to the floor. She knew Rose was good, but couldn't help using her powers, Lily however relied on pure skill.

Right, shortest route to Uni... shortest distantce between 2 points is a straight line.. She smiled to herself, knowing that only someone as crazy as herself would dare try follow this route.

She powerslid the corner and redlined it up the one way street (on which she was going the wrong way).Flying through the intersection, ignoring the red light, she barely made it past the crossing traffic.

I hope Rose isn't following me, she'd never had made that... even WITH her powers

She took every possible short cut to reach the University, no matter how insane or dangerous.

Finally reaching the quiet dimly lit live-on-campus parking lot, she did a handbraky into her spot and waited for Rose whilst the smoke from her tyres cleared. SHe expected to hav had a VAST lead, unless Rose cheated...

"Welcome to Neural Abilites class. I'm your teacher for the year, Mr Black." Ashleigh commanded his presence in the room like no other. Hopefully this year he thought I won't have as many young girls without neural skills in my class.
"This class is for those of you gifted with abilities of the mind to hone those skills and get them down to a fine art."

The reason so many young girls took his class was obvious, but he chose to ignore it. Ash had long black hair and chisled features with a body that any hero would be more than proud of, and he was quite young for a teacher, but his skills were no less....

"Now before we start I would like to see a small demonstration of each of your powers... Do I have a volunteer?"

A tallish young girl at the back stood up.
"Ummm.... I'll go first sir."

Fair enough, and you would be?"

"Oh, I'm Astarte, sir..."

"Well Astarte, please show us..."

With that Astarte stretched our her hand and opened a gravity well under Ash's desk, suspending the table in mid air.

"Thank you Astarte, you may sit down now" and with a flick of his hand her gravity well disappeared, which made the desk land hard on the floor.

Astarte wondered whether, even though her skin was on the darker side of things, she could be seen blushing...

((Hi my name's Eve, I'm from NZ and myself and my fellow CoH friend Pious have decided to start this as another form of Heroes Highschool/Uni because we found the other far less structured and the Player characters (PC's) hardly ever got to mingle outside of their seperate "groups".
This IS NOT a slap in the face to those who started or ran the other thread, more of an alternative to that. No offence was intended to the other thread.
If you're wondering why someone considered a "noob" to the game and forums would want to run this it's because I'm a LARPer (live action role player) first and foremost. I have done years of LARPing as well as GMing (games mastering/storytelling) and have even invented my own games based on the white wolf system.

This story takes place at University in Grimry Ridge, Steel Canyon, Paragon City, most meetings/chance happenings take place in the central hexigon on school grounds. There will be class schedules available as jpg fomat and a list of known NPC's (non-player characters)

Combat will be simple but has yet to be defined and we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Other than that welcome to the scholarship program and enjoy the game...))

Phoenyx flew into the air and Followed Natoe. [i]He sure is cute she thought, I don't mind following at all... but I still don't know what to do...

Eva didn't know what so say she had neve been *involved* with anyone before.

"Um... yeah, that could be cool..."

She nervously started twirling her hair around her fingers again.

"I'm from a little place you probably haven't heard of it.... New Zealand."

"yeah, smokes are good...."

Eva looked at the ground then back up at Natoe. Her heart pounding in her chest and flicked her hair behid her ears. She was incredibly nervous. What do I say?

"Umm............ I'm not seein anyone, I just moved here..."

Eva blushed. She heard what he said but didn't know whether it was the redness in her face he was talking about or whether it was her appearance.

"Uh, yeah, I am..."

She slide her chair back and got um, nearly falling over the table it the process. She grabbed her leather trench coat from the back of the chair.

"Um...yeah.... shall we?"

It was clear to Eva that Natoe was nervous.
maybe he doesn't want to be here and he IS doing this as a dare she thought. Or maybe I just brought up the wrong subject..

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure there is a hell." she started to twirl some of her hair round her fingers.

"Um, so, you know, I could really do with a smoke..."

She didn't know if it was just her or whether it was the room, but she started to feel really warm...

Eva smiled

"It's the books of Angels... those above and those fallen, originally written by Enoch translated from the language of angels... I like the occult..." she paused "Why you need to do an essay on Hero 1?"

She shifted in her corset and leaned on her book. Unknowingly it was now possible to see right down her corset...

"Ummm, just the Book of Enoch... You ever read it?"

She did think he would have, but asked anyway...

Without lifting her head Eva spoke

"I said it's fine. My name's Xyneohp, but you can call me Xyn if you want..."

She then shifted her eyes up to look at Natoe and smiled....not bad from close range either she thought

Eva looked up from her book and sighed.

"That's ok, I get that..." she said very nonchalantly and went back to reading a very thick leather-bound book. She wanted to appear like it meant nothing but she was smiling inside.
