Of course you would have to check with Geordi because he is doing maintenance, but theoretically it should work. -

Quote:I do wish there were more RPvP events, as I enjoy both quite a bit.
DJ Shecky from The CAPE radio held (still holds?) monthly RPvP events that were a blast. Lots of people would show up, party, and throw down. No one cared about winning, losing, or how their builds measured up. I brought my PB to the first event, which is a rarity since you never see khelds in the zones. The idea was to have fun, and from what I saw the majority of people did.
I think a lot of the reluctance to RPvP comes from mindset. People do put a lot of time into their characters and become quite attatched. They don't want to enter a PvP situation and see their beloved characters beaten.
Actually, I will be starting the RPvP back up in December, as RL has me off the air on Tuesdays right now. But Yes, once a month I do open zone RPvP, and rotate zones. Most of us are not real good PVPers, but we are learning. -

Quote:The issue you run into I think is that the "Heavy" RP SGs tend to keep to themselves a lot. It also depends on your definition of Heavy RP. Your Definition, could be someone elses Definition of Medium. I know Heavy to me means constant plots going on, no time for OOC, things get scripted to a small extent, you must wear our colors, and usually ignores most in game cannon. I see Heavy groups Advertise in the D a few times a night during my shows.Ok so it seems that those groups which are holding steady are not in the middle of a change of guard and are active are only "medium" to "rp friendly". I'm sorry if I've over looked someone but I'm kind of discouraged by this, as it was my real hope to find an active heavy rp group with low aggro score. :/
Medium to me is RP is always around, but we don't require you to be constantly IC, or some members of our coalition aren't RP groups.
A solid, well rounded SG that is going to last will have many different aspects, so that they can draw in the most amount of people into their group, be able to fund a good base, and maybe even throw parties and be active in teh community overall. This is why I did recommend American Legion and Hero Dawn. I know AL does have a lot of RPers in it, and same with Hero Dawn. Both are large active groups, HD I know has been around for over 2 years with the same Leader of the group. AL has been around for around 2 years. Both are very active SGs.
If I were you, I would actually talk to some of the groups, if you haven't, to actually see what they are like. Heck, Even ask them what they recommend for a Heavy RP group. You might be surprised on the help they would give. -
The Americal Legion is pretty active and RP's, Hero Dawn is active and does some RPing, same with the Justice Girls.
