Viktor Radkowicz (Doc Rads) used to be quite well off, but the legal expenses stemming from his campaign on behalf of the "healing power of radiation" have left him nearly destitute. He is barred from practicing medicine in the US, so he spends most of his time working with other heroes in the field, where he is allowed to practice his odd theories. Occasional donations from people he has saved are his only source of income.
