This is part reply part question so all feedback welcome.

I have a 43 blaster and a 16 Ill/Kin troller. Defiance on my blaster i have found to be personally useless and can count on the fingers of a fish how many times I've felt it usefull.
The controller inherent (containment ) I have found early on to be vvv usefull. The ability to blind a few mobs then hit em with spectral wounds for double damage has speeded my lvling times up.
Having said that I have no idea how it will affect me in later levels. Does the double damage effect happen with damage from pets as well or does it become redundant?

The main aim is PvE and the thinking being that the team would be flexible enough to cope with anything. Also the idea that it would be purely team based meant that we tried to think of powersets that would combine well. Stone Tank because they have gd all rnd defense and are basically unstoppable. Earth/Kinetics troller gd mix of aoe holds to bring fire blaster/s into the mix plus kinetics is the mutts nuts Empath defender to be honest is more an insuance policy and if we reckon we wouldn't need it we would probably shift things about. Another important poin once we find a final member we will finalise what combos we want. Nothing is set in stone, other than the tanker and we are very open to better suggestions. So please 1 more person who wants to try and get to 50 purely as a team lend us ur superheroie gdness!!

Just to update we're still looking for 1 more person for the team. As current members are flexible it would be for either a stone tanker, earth/kinetics troller or Empath Defender. If ur interested send me a pm as we are looking to get underway this sunday 27/11.

The idea is the characters would be created from lvl 1 and each member would only play with that character as part of the team. We would only choose players who are able to make the commitment as we understand it would not be possible for every1. The idea behind no scrappers is that Blaster have a higher capacity for damage especially AoE. If it is done well we would not need the defensive powers of a scrapper as a gd tanker should be able to cope with the aggro.

We're looking to put together a new PvE team on Defiant. The team will only ever be online together, no solo play just pure teaming. The aim is to reach lvl 50 as a team in as short a playing time as possible. Team members will only ever play together, all power choices are made by the team and slotted for the team. We aren't looking for a team of elite players, just a bunch of players for an elite team . We want a team of 5: 1 Tank, 1 Controller,1 Defender and 2 Blasters of which the controller and 1 blaster are filled. If you're interested you need to be available for an average of 3 hrs/wknd and be commited to only play together. If you're interested send me a pm or contact me in game.
