  1. ((Geez, people, don't you quit just for one day. Yeesh. :P))

Stahlhund eyed the Crab Spider with suspicon, although, you coudln't tell because of his silver visor. "So, die Spinnen, have been sent to check on us? No matter. Senior Operative Drago, I am Operative Stahlhund, formerly of the 5th Column. I have taken this job because of the interesting development it has taken." The german machine replied as curtly as possible and nodded towards the Arachnos agent.

However, this did not mean he was not ready for some type of attack. The suit he was now apart of was designed for the purposes to be able to sneak and not to be snuck upon. His blade was made to pop out of the wrist at a moment's notice and his cloaking device could double as a slight veil of sorts, causing potential eemies to have a diffucult time pinpointing the machine. Combine that with his impressive refelxes and you have a deadly and effienct killer.
  2. Sam eyed the dragon out of the corner of his eyes. "Thank you, Akemi. Yes. I do live here by myself. It wasn't always like that though..." the man said, his voice trailing off. He shook his head as he finished putting away the groceries with Eileen's help. He gave her a glance and a smile, "With all do respect Ma'am, the way you can put people in their place is amazing. I wish I could of done that when I had students. Speaking of, I mainly just wanted to ask you how Danny was doing. He's a smart kid, as you probably realize. I always enjoyed him in my classes." the older man sighed as he walked to the front room and took a seat in the empty chair seated in between the couchs. He had brought out a tray full of cups with various liquids, many identifiable as soda and some as water. He sat it on the table where everyone could easily reach it.

He laughed at the antics of the little dragon called Johnny. "I'm sure your fine or else I doubt these two would haul you around. And I do believe the heroes are here. I'm, honestly, thankful so many have decided to help the people here. I've just always felt like if they just had more time, then, I don't know, maybe most of these thugs, zombies and cultists would just be gone. I suppose though, that's wishfull thinking. The thugs and things leaving, I mean. Nothing the heroes can do except what they always do. Be heroes. All I could do was teach. Ah, I'm ranting. Sarah, was it? Who is your lone hero? Would we know him?"

(Holy Carp, Catman! That just *poofed* into exitence!)
  3. Stahlhund watched from the shadows, his cloak hiding him in plain sight. He was intrigued by this Jack and was watching intensly. However, the spider bots seemed to be handled, the red machine kept a watch on the whole apartment while he watched Jack.

He figured that Jack may be able to sense him, at least somewhat, so he de-cloaked not far from Red. He had forgotten that Red didn't know he was in as well.

    (That came out kinda fuzzy....sorry..))
  4. Sam almost barked with laughter when Akemi fell. It wasn't the fal that was funny, but the weapons falling from her pack. He grinned and turned to the rest of the group, still walking "Okay, so, Am I the only one here who doesn't qualify as some type of hero?" The former teacher stopped in front of a house that seemed large, if plain. "Welcome to my humble abode"

Winston walked in and sat the groceries on the table, then found an empty clean milk container. "You all can sit, if you want. The couches are big enough" Indeed, in the front room were two rather large, couches with enough room to sit three or maybe four people on. "I'll be a moment. Make yourselves at home."
  5. (...uh...I think work may have sapped me again...uh..gods my brain..Think I'll park Max for a little....move him if need be, just no killing or serious injury to him or his crew )
  6. "Is it Miss or Mrs. Troy? I never could get Danny to talk much about anyone except his Uncle E. And yes, I was talking about Blyde, ma'am. I retired last year, though. I taught, History, mostly Greek Mythology, some English that I subbed for, and even a course of self-defense and Boxing." Sam spoke, the joy still evident in his voice. "South, you say? Well, what luck! I am going South. I live a few blocks away from where Positron stands. We greet each other everyday." He said, smiling as he began walking down the street, anyone wishing to follow him would be behind him as well.

(Quick Note: This ended up as everyone follows Crimson thread. :P Are going to pull something Kyo? :P)
  7. Stahlhund decloaked as he nodded in agreement to Cassie. "I agree. This is quite interesting and part of the reason I decided to join. Now, I will begin my search as well, if you ladies will excuse me.." The machine said, his thick german accent hinted with a metallic twang.

    (Bah! I hate work..........)
  8. "Do not worry doctor. I merely aimed for his spinal column. He should survive. Though, I am worried about these runes." The german stalker said, calmly. "Is it a spell?"

The sword vanished into the machine's wrist as he bent to observe the strange figure. "What are you, geschopf?" The red stalker waited for a reply before moving.
  9. Stahlhund had entered the helicopter with veryone else, unseen. He was there when the figure struck out against them. However, he was not within range of the black mass. He watched for a few moments until Dynamo Rose seemed to get his attention.

The stalker moved forward, dodging the volley from the robots that had gathered like some unseen, dancing machine. In fact, he was humming something that vaugely sounded like Mozart. He moved with the music as made his way to the figure's back. The red machine crouched down, his attention focusing on the area where the man's spine should be. A whirring sound was heard moments before a red and black blade was ejected from his wrist and into his hand. It was made of Impervium and looked remarkably sharp. The german stalker abruptly stopped his quiet humming as he thrust the blade towards the man's back.
  10. Stahlhund nodded in agreement at the Doctor as she asked her questions, "Great points, Doctor. This is why I am a soldier and you are a Doctor. I am quite eager to engage in battle and perhaps, been too forward. I apologize."

He tapped the side of his helmet to indincate to Rose that he could recieve such copies. He reveiwed the information that he had gathered, all without so much as an nod or two. The red machine beeped a few times as he finished with the information. "I am ready to begin whatever it is we need to do. Payment is not the reason I have come here. So, please finish what you need and I will be awaiting by the seats." The german stalker said, as he strolled across to the seats. He did not sit however, just stood close by.
  11. Stahlhund regarde the woman who had identified herself as Dr. Lore with a curt, quick nod. "Nien. I will stand until briefed. Thank you, Doctor." The man he had appeared beside did not react the way Stahlhund had expected. He was very slightly impressed. The machine nodded to Jack as well.

"Ja. I require as much knowledge as you can give, Manning." The stalker replied. He listened, never moving from his spot, and nodded as the Crey man finished. "Thank you, Manning. Will Dynamo Rose be our team leader?" The machine asked, still in the same stance.
  12. Sam almost screamed when the "creature" appeared. Till he realized that the "creature" had protected the woman who also chased off the other, wiser, Outcasts.

"Sorry, you kind of scared me. And thanks ma'am, for the quick fix. I heard about you, Mrs. Troy. Danny used to be a student of mine, very briefly. I taught...various..classes at his school. You may not remember me. You have quite the reputation with the Outcasts, ma'am. I'm afraid I must be going though. Your all welcome to join if that's not too strange, or if your not busy." The older man said, preparing to venture further into the streets of Paragon. The man gathered his belongings and straightend his cap.
  13. Max observed the three others conversing about buisness. His face seemed a bit older, more tired. His nose looked as if some one had slugged him well, and a part of his torso seemed wrapped in guaze (Sp?)

His crew sat to the far side of him, the six of them with various wounds as well. Ash's face appeared somwhat swollen almost in the shape of a rifle stock. Axel was holding an icepack to his head while Syxx was wrapping his left hand with bandages. Eddie was dressing what seemed to be, gunshot wounds to Timmy and Bear, even covered in what appeared to be bruises and cuts, merely sttod at the rear of the seven.

Max shook his head as he took a long drag on the cigarette he had. "I'm getting too old for this [spit]. Hey, you two fellas over there. Mind not freaking that...um...griffin? out, please." The older man said to the three grouped together.
  14. Stahlhund watched from the shadows at the group gathering in the office. The machine stood silently, his stance very similar to a soldier when at ease. A slight hissing noise was emitted as the machine de-cloaked, the red metallic frame standing next to the man who had just arrived. The man would almost certaintly be startled and Stahlhund was quite aware of this.

"Operative Stahlhund reporting for duty. Require breifing." the machine said in a gruff german accent. The silver visor off set the red and black coloring of the rest of it's scheme. The fire-like stripe that ran down it's sides was a shade or two lighter than the dark red overtone. It's gloves and boots were solid black.
  15. Sam looked around at the crowd he found himslef at. "Wow. What, am I something interesting?" Winston said with a chuckle. He met the gaze and hand of the Peacebringer and said with a grin, "Maybe, but I've seen some people get hurt cause they weren't careful. Even some heroes sleep, you know? I mean, I love you guys but you shouldn't have to save us cause we were careless."

His eyes dropped to the wasted milk and then to the girl, Akemi, "If you want to help me, it'd be nice. You don't have to, though."

As the two strangers approached, Sam realized someone else had been watching them. "Um, buddy? You need something?" the portly man said to the person yet to introduce himself.

(There I posted what little my brain could conjure up! Now quit bugging me! :P)
  16. The man glowered silently at the one who shot the whistle. 'I wish I was a hero sometimes... He returned his glance to the female who had walked into him. "You know, this might be the City of Heroes but that doesn't mean there is always one around. You should be more careful." The man said with a slight smile. Then, the bag ripped as she finished asking her question. The man sighed and looked straight ahead, "Tell me that didn't happen..." Even as the jug of milk was spilling into the street

The Outcasts across the street howled with laughter. "Loser! Ha!" shouted the Chiller. He knew the Outcast by name, he also knew his family. "Hey, what if I tell your ma you ain't doin your homework, Carl? Huh? What then?"

The Chiller straightend up, slicking back his hair. "Yeah, well, wasn't that funny. Watch youreself, Teach..." Carl shot back, ice playing on his hands.

The man turned back to the woman. "By the way, name's Sam. Sam Winston. What's yours?" The man calmly stated, even though his eyes were tired.
  17. The man watched from the store window as a hero gave a beat down to a criminal. His cap was pulled down and his vest zipped up and pulled close to his portly body. The pants he wore looked like a faded pair of red sweatpants. He walked up to the cahsier and she proceded to ring him up. The register blazed with green light, $51.69. The man rummaged through his wallet for a minute and sighed. "I only have forty five bucks. I'll go put some of it back."

A few minutes later he walked out of the store and had turned around the corner with his groceries in hand. That is, until the girl smacked into him. After she helped him up, he tried to gather his items. "It's okay. Just glad, you know, you weren't a Vahzilok or something..."
  18. Hey, Gamma, I posted in Da to show my support. That sucks and completly stupid. Those two clowns really need to find the buisness end of my Stalker's sword! I mean, hell, at least don't gloat about it....Screw them I say! There goes my hope od having a sire with everthing..wait.. I have you guys!
  19. ((Still here. Also waiting. Think I'm waiting on Khell and BB and BB might be waiting on Khell....so....yeah))
  20. That was great. "Its breezy"

Brillant! I have to clean my screen now. Really have got to stop drinking and um...Foruming? New word?

Pausing a moment to check his rifle over, Solid gave the thugs to introduce themselves if they wanted then continued.

The three standing to the left of Max and the two heroes, pistols ready, piped up. "Name's Axel, pal." the first one said, the city accent heavy. "Yeah, mon, Syxx be my name" the second, with a strange accent, jovily replyed. "Um...My name's Ash. Hi." said the smallest guy in the room.

The hankerchief wearing man nodded without taking his eyes off of the door. " Eddie the Blade. And this smiling hombre is Timmy the Tooth. He not so talkative...Just smiles and laughs. Mucho creepy." the lation said, flicking a thumb at the other Enforcer.

The largest man in the room grunted. "Bear. Nuff said."

"Ok, just so we all know, the only thing keeping me from turning the lot of you into the authorities right now is cause the authorities are all Nazis. And we're in the wrong dimension. So I mostly just helped save your [censored] cause I figured a gang of nine stands a better chance to take on the Nazi hordes than just the two of us capes, badass though we might be," Solid rattled off, pausing a moment to poke his head out the door and look around, continuing after he pulled back in. "Anyway, ask your questions now, but hurry up and know that I've been here like ten minutes longer than you guys. That and I want to go raid that hospital before the police cordon gets us. Oh, and my name's Solid Shot. Solid will do. No, I'm not a guy in a suit. I'm a robot."

"Woah, there hero. You probably would try to take us down, but calm yourself, son. We ain't really all that bad compared to some of them. I mean, The Council, Malta, Arachnos, hell even Crey are our main targets. We don't go around hurtin' random people. We're not boy scouts either, but I doubt you guys are. Only reason I'm even a "villain" is well, robbing banks isn't exactly nice, you know."

The gang also had their guns trained on he man before he went into his tatics. Though, a problem. Bear. Somewhat tucked to one of the corners ready for action was Bear. As the man flew towards the sky, the brute tore a piece of the ground up and flung it towards him.

The other men were not idle either. The rest, with the execption of Max, opened fire on the burning man. Uzis, pistols and even a few flaming bottles were unloaded towards their target.

Max, on the other hand, had to dive out of the way of the fireballs launched at Solid. He slid under a turned over desk, convientlay placed. He whipped out his custom pistols, only to find the man above him.

"Ah, crap." Max said under his breath. He desperatly raised his guns to level with the man. He only hoped that he had enough time to actually fire them.
  22. Eddie threw a mexican curse as fell over the droid. Before anyone could respond though, Solid had darted into the alleyways with a harsh command. They followed behind him, even though his movements were a bit clunky at times. A nine year old could of followed him. Finallly, they ducked inside a building that seemed to have been previously secured. The crew immediatley went into defensive postions around the house except for Max. Max walked over to Solid, briefly looking him up and down before speaking.

"Thanks for the help. What's your name? Don't laugh, Mine is Max D. Stroyer. My parents had a sense of humor, I guess. I got a few questions, so whenever your ready."

His crew were waiting to see if they had been followed, their guns drawn and Bear waiting to charge the door.
  23. "Boss, I think I found the sniper hombre." Eddie pointed towards Solid coming on for the strike. "Right. Boys, fall back. I got me a plan." The elder biker said. His gloved hand flew into his jacket, searching quickly. He pulled out a strange, orb like thing. He pressed a few buttons on his keyboard and the ball began to pulse red.

The orb was a Heated Radar Jamming and Smoke Grenade. Max had stolen it from the Council during a "negotiation". He threw the grenade towards CANINE in hopes of at least jamming it's radar and any other form of visiual aid. He turned and steadily walked down the street, guns drawn. His crew followed in a formation used to keep their backs from being open. As they walked a thought dawned on Eddie.

"Boss? I think that vato with the gun was a robot." the Enforcer spoke. Max's eyebrows perked up behind his sungasses. "Why the hell didn't you say so? Damnit. Hope he's fine. Or I hope your wrong Eddie. He didn't start this fight, in fact, he was helping us. You gotta tell me these things, Ed." the biker said, his voice hinting at the annoyance he felt. They were out of their game. They were the smaller force, had lost the element of surprise, the Nazi's had homefield advantage.

"Careful, boys. I don't think we're going to get far. If they ask, surrender. And no guff! I don't wanna hear it! Screw our pride! If we pace ourselves maybe we can get some kind of advantage, at least survive this mess. With me?" Max said, turning to his "boys". They nodded their heads except for Bear. "Bear? C'mon. You know as well as I do that we haveta play smarter not harder. You've stuck with my old @#$ this far, don't lemme down now." Max pleaded with the oversized thug. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the brusier nodded his head. "All right. Eyes Peeled."
  24. The car holding the gang stopped suddenly enough to smack Ash's head off the dashboard. The force field had lowered the friction but didn't stop it completly.

"What the hell's wrong with this place?! Robots in trunks!? Teleporting sword slingers?! Web covered roads!?" the pyro practically screamed at the windshield.

"Calm down, Ash. I think we made some ruckus, boys. I dunno who the swordsman is, but he might need some help. Bear, see if you can lend a hand. Be careful, I ain't sure if the bot will explode. I mean, I know your tough, but your not Statesman." Max said, his voice commanding. He turned to his two Enforcers. "Eddie, find where that sniper is. If possible, don't make any threating moves. Timmy, see if you can find any recon equipment in here. " the elder man said quickly as he watched the formidable form of Bear get out of the vehicle. "Syxx, Axel, get ready. I gotta bad feeling about this. Ash....You ready to burn something down?" The older biker said. He exited the car as did his crew. He readied his custom pistols and proceeded to check his ammo. He was getting ready for a fight.
  25. Ash screamed as the spike missed his spine by mere inches. Luckliy, he had bent over to adjust the radio. The other spike however, was thrust towards Bear. The brute merely grabbed the spike with his gloved hand. His face didn't show rage, pain or even concertration. The machine struggled for a few moments before a bullet ripped into it, rendering it useless.

Up ahead, though, Ash hadn't noticed the webbed road. Max did. He rolled up his sleeve as he noticed the man with the sword. His wrist had what looked like a keyboard attached to it and with practiced speed, the elder man punched in a few keys.

A drone appeared next to the car, a force field emitting from the floating orb. Max didn't know if the field would stop the man so he readied his custom pistols and pointed at the window, prepared to unload onto the man. The guns were quite like Desert Eagles, but the barrel appeared wider. In fact, the guns had a overall meatier look to them.
