This is the server I use for my SG - I am sure there are others on the www.ventrilo.com web site - I have had this one for a few years with no problems.



The Ventrilo Client is the actual software users install on their computers. The program allows them to connect to, and communicate with other Ventrilo users. In order for users to be able to communicate, however, they must first be connected to a server.


The Ventrilo Server is a dedicated computer running the Ventrilo server software, which allows multiple users to connect and communicate with each other. By connecting to a server a user is able to communicate with all other users currently connected to that server.
