Virtue is wonderful. 4 years ago my toons lived on Protector another great server but very hard to find teams if u didnt form them. moved to vrtue i liked the people

some myths about virtue you may hear ignore =)

Truimph- I like truimph but lately has a protector feel to it

Noticing a lot of good teams and bad teams out there thought i would weigh in with ideas on APEX. of course everyone has a formula..i would like to here it =0)
TEAM FOR APEX
Hard to narrow down. lot of good players out there and lots of team builds could work.
some teams do better with tank some dont. make sure you have a healthy combination of range and melee
and i wouldnt recommed pugs..just for simple reason you need people who will work with team ....
typically on teams i have built i do the following
1 tank
2 broot
3 debuff/range
4scrapper
5 debuff/range
6 buffer
7 VEAT
8 blaster

APEX Masters of... ( can die all you want and use temps and doesnt have to be earned in same tf)
Mission Alpha
*Dont touch glowies at start of mission ( badges)

* Dont let drones near police station be killed

* if sucessful get two badges at end.
Mission Omega
heres the tricky part of the masters getting bm down in 15 mins or less while holding off random blue and swords and champions here how ive done it might work for you but im always glad to hear other strategies

1 BEFORE ENTERING BUFF

2 PICK a TARGETEER TO FOCUS FIRE ON Battle Maiden ( usually tank)

3 ONCE BMaiden RETREATS break into two teams ( squishies on left Melee on right)
Squishies support melee while melee goes after champs ( 2 waves of champs) ignore swords and try to stay out of blue light
if people die
1. healer ( if one) rezes
2. if more than a min no rez hit hosp and come back
3.if team dies one stays

4.Battle Maiden comes back... target again tru same tank or targeteer
1. mele hits her then moves away waits till blue gone then hits
2 range hits at range keeps moving
rad ( if have one or debuffer) applies rad,dark,sonic,etc
some people say no holds i dont mind them hasnt been factor yet
idea is to act like a stalker in pvp
for those non pvp saaavy
hit and run..
usually team can avoid champs and swords and focus on bm

works under 15 mins if moving right and cooperation is working


Alpha mission ( further thoughts)

Hotspots you have to just go tru them use lead tank/scrapper as target

PYLONS
1. if team built scrap/tank heavy use them ( pop orange insps)

2 if more range heavy pylons can be destroyed at range
use scrap or tank or veat to keep spawns busy once pylon down spawns die..watch otu for rikti in first pylon

should probabley comment since tuesday i have done this tf 15 times and failed twice (before noticed pattern and rebuilt team to fit playstyle)

since above mention formula i havent failed once
(6 out of 6 with formula and 7 out of 9 without formula)

TIME FOR APEX
21 mins is best time so far for me
i heard some people have done tf in 6 to 10 mins
i find amazing and wish those people good luck
I dont think i could be that fast
im guessing it involves shivans,missles,heavys,etc? (maybe but im guessing)
and real specific build or group of friends

Virtue tf 2010 is old channel to get in im guesing pm a mod on virtue tf 2011.
Sometimes when new channel gets full or is outdated ( ie year) the mods decided to open the years channel and privitaze the old channel
