If this was a prelude to Issue 3, then it would have to drag out for a very long time, which would make the final release of the issue somewhat anticlamactic.

I'll let you in on a little secret: this is story is just the tip of the Issue 3 story. Folks, this is the start of A Council of War.

I'm going with the Axis invasion theory, the only issue I have is why would the 5th be "grateful" for being arrested if their counterparts are coming, I though they all craved Axis Amerika.

I'm pretty sure it was only that rogue Oberst (forget his name) and his followers that wanted to go there. It seems like the 5th col is a pretty diverse group, despite its facist ways, there was even a mission where some ubermench actually wanted to let crey study him and his comrades didn't like it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Uberman! I remember that guy, he "found his new home" with the Crey=)
I had just assumed all 5th wanted in on the Axis from the convo's in the Oberst mission, but you might be right that it was only his small band that got all excited about the prospect.

What if the 5th is preparing for the Rularuu invasion by amassing more troops?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Read the article... it's something happening from inside their organization.
Also do not forget. It's almost All Hallows Eve. Werewolves and Vampires abound!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Might it be that someone in the 5th, possibly a new leader, has decided to convert the majority of the 5th ranks into these evil incarnations? That might explain why they are anxoius to get brought in. Why the bases popping up I wonder though...

Misspellings and improper use of grammar are not an "evolution" of language, nor are they necessarily slang.

That said, making a post to do nothing more than point out said errors IS bad form, unless it is so bad that the post is unreadable.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Maybe not in your circle of friends but I run with many graph artists and DJ's, and misspellings are often used on purpose. Natzi may not be a purposeful misspelling but it doesn't deserve budd to interject and start talking about posessive nouns.

"Sup bro?" Misspelling and improper grammer, common phrase. "How you doin?".. the list goes on and on. Current English grammar is far removed from its predecessor. The Educational system may try to dictate what is "proper" grammar, but those of us talking amongst ourselves on the streets and in the workplaces rarely pay attention, hence the evolution is taking place.

edit: didn't mean to hijack thread, sry all.

I guess it's time for the Natzi's to feel some hot flaming monkey luv!!

    [/ QUOTE ]

What is a "Natzi" and why did you use the posessive form of the noun without indicating a posessed object?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Why be an [censored]? If you couldn't understand his meaning you are an idiot, if you were pointing out flaws in his spelling/grammar to show us how much smarter you are then you are also an egotist.

Language evolves, slang and street talk do exist and they are valid forms of communication, so please...
