Teaming at the earliest levels can be of an incredible benefit. Initially everyone is in the same level range of each other right out of the Zig. This eliminates the problem of finding folks in your level range. Three times now in the last 3 weeks I have come out of the Zig and broadcasted my level, type and LFT. Twice I got into a pickup group and once I started one myself by sending a tell to another player.
When the groups both had Kalinda and Matthew Burke contacts the leader alternated the missions. Since several people had those missions in their list they could click ok to clear the mission off their list and go back to the contact to get the next one or click no to keep their mission.
After every other mission we would break to level and sell or buy and regroup. Using this method you can get accustom to other Archetypes and playing with larger groups. Doing this early can make you a better team player and has the add-in feature of being able to ask questions to other players on the team.
You will find out quickly that playing in good groups make this great game ever greater. -

I knew I wouldn't get my five points...
But have you seen _the_ doctor in a Sinbad movie? (Golden Voyage in this case) My dad took me to all 3 of the Harryhausen Sinbads in the theater. Wasn't until years later I realized it was the doc. Tommy plays a great villain.
And once again, the old gamer thread comes back to haunt me...

Had the old D&D boxed set (the white box), then went to the AD&D sets.

You remember that Chainmail was the rule set that the Grayhawk books where taken from and those would be made into AD&D then back into the boxed sets.
You look at the boxed set play testers list and know some of those folks.

Bonus points if you know where the micro dot is, Who Warren R. is and could make the duck looking dragons kill themselves by putting the arrow looking sword in the middle of the room and getting them to chase you. Double bonus if you ever realized you could use the magnet to move the bridge and simply move down from screen to screen or used the Bat stealing behavior to win the game by making it fly into the golden castle for you. -

Just a thought, Howling Twilight might be an option as it autohit's slow the regen and disorients.

Actually, the problem is that Howling Twilight needs a target. If you can't target the stalker or someone next to him, you can't use HT. AoE toggles or drops (like Caltrops) don't require that you even know the stalker's there.
Now, if you have the perception to see the stalker, it might be a good choice to start with.

Something like Hasten running almost perma with Aim slotted for 3 recharge and 1 Accuracy would give you a large perception bonus in short bursts. Then run and Assault & Tactics for the always on +Acc + Dmg. -

Most of the damaging AoE auras have a tohit check and are unreliable against stalker's high AoE defense. These include Death Shroud, Blazing Aura, Quills, Orbiting Death, Icicles. I believe those that are autohit include Hurricane, Repel, Repulsion Field, Chilling Embrace, Mud Pots, Arctic Air.

Howling Twilight Ranged (AoE): Target Slow, -Recharge, Disorient, Ally Rez
Activating this power channels the power of the Netherworld to weaken your foes, in an attempt to revive all nearby fallen allies. You must stand near your defeated allies to revive them, then select a foe. The selected foe and all nearby foes will be Slowed, Disoriented, and drained of some life. Revived allies suffer no ill effects. The more enemy foes are drained, the more your allies will be healed. - Convalescent's Guide to City of Villains

Just a thought, Howling Twilight might be an option as it autohit's slow the regen and disorients. The drawback is the animation time. Once you did get the stalker with Howling Twilight a hold could be thrown (Tar Patch, Fearsome Stare & Petrifying Gaze) followed by a Rain of Fire then a nice Blaze . There is also the Cold/* set. It does animate faster and give other follow up options.
