It's been awhile since my last post!
I've been busy with Uni / comic stuffs. it sucks because I haven't been able to play as much City of Heroes as I'd like, and I haven't done much fanart of my own characters.
But I have a picture to show!
Kenkira had a contest to draw one / all / some of his CoX characters! I decided to have a go, and I submitted this:

From left to right we have, Halletosis, Holly Hero, Gingervitas, and Angsty Teen up there on the billboard.

Last post I made here I had some people asking about commissions. Well I've been freed of some of my committments so I can do a couple, but instead of people PMing / emailing me, I've decided to have a commission auction at CAC. All of my relatives are un-supportive of my art style also. (except for my parents who are proud after getting over the fact that my obsession with comics wasn't 'just a phase.')
My relatives always want me to paint portraits and flowers and landscapes; and sure I do those things occassionally, but it's not what I love doing.

I'd be concerned about that child's childhood. Is she really having all that much fun painting? Does she go outside or run outside with friends? Her website just looks like some braggy thing made by her parents. I'd hate to be a child like her, sure I love drawing like all hell; but most child prodigys are unhappy.
She has an amazing level of technical skill, but no real artistic feeling coming through her work.

I find that really amusing; it's so weird when people say to me 'you do that.. But you're a girl!' But I'm a total geek to the core; besides CoX my favourite games of all time are Halo and Unreal Tournament; I adore first person shooters. (Which pleases my partner because we love playing together.) I'm also a total comics / anime geek. (Having said all that, I'm a girlie-girl too, my favourite color is pink and I have an obsession with Hello Kitty. @_@ teehee.

Sorry for the double post; but to answer your question, I used Sakura Micron inking pens, sizes 005 and 01. I did the orange outline with a Prismacolor marker.
It's weird for me to have used Microns actually because lately I've been really into inking all of my pictures with metal-nibbed inking pen and an ink pot.

I jumped on the forums this morning (still in my pajamas no less) and checked my thread; it has 4 pages of warm welcomes, everyone is so nice!
Thankyou! And for those who were asking, I play on the Pinnacle server.

I'll probably be posting more art with-in the next couple of days since I have a sketch session planned with a friend today. Love you guys!

teehee, thanks for the heads up Frosty Femme; are you being honest about the sketch? My schedule is pretty busy, so I really won't be taking up commissions for awhile. (I don't do requests either. )
