I've always been a fan of Mike, this is indeed saddening news.

It's a lovely piece, but your story is indeed weird.
As an artist I ALWAYS contact a person back to tell them if I've accepted the job or not. I also contact them before they send me any money also.

I find contact between the client, and the artist to be really, really important.

(CoX game card are also like impossible to buy in my area, so after my next month of game-time expires I probably won't be getting anymore; which means I also won't be able to post here anymore.)

Thanks for all your helpful comments. I'm getting closer to my dream of becoming a comic artist. I recently just finished my first professional work, some colouring for Devil's Due Publishing. Right now I'm finally getting to pencil something! Which will *hopefully* be hitting stores by the end of the year.
