This certainly does suck. The crab gets a few really cool powers you can't get with the bane, yet unlike the bane you can't avoid aesthetic annoyances in order to use them.

    crab legs are stupid looking.

A corruptor gets kinetics, which I would love to put a few of those powers on my MM, but that just isn't happening, and I don't complain about it.

I agree with you on the Positron's blast. I kinda noticed that after I did it but didn't think of it afterward. Thank you for the reminder there. The Impervium Armor I didn't notice but since you mention it, I really don't need the psi resistance from the 6th piece.

I wanted to take AIM but was thinking more of defense because I have been very squishy and wanted to avoid that, so I went for the fighting pool and didn't have room for AIM. Not to mention my damage soling LTs has been great anyway and didn't tihnk I would need it. May pick it back up soon though.

I 3 slotted tar-patch because I want it always available for the next fight. As fast as this toon rips through crowds I needed alot of recharge.

I did slot Twilight Grasp, but I still went for Theft of Essence because of the "chance for +end proc."

    Thanks for the info!
  3. I agree, I think it is great especially if you are teaming and combining stuns with other players. But like I said in my original post, this toon is going to be mainly solo and groups like LTs not bosses or AVs, so I think just throwing in a couple recharges so that it comes up more often is more than enough for average use.
  4. Thanks for all the advice guys, I appreciate it and with the combination have been able to make a very strong build, which I will post tonight when I am not on a work computer.

Why are some people so insistent on slotting howling twilight? Yes it has awesome -regen debuff, but that is only useful when fighting Av's really, there aren't many normal enemies that have enough regen for it to matter. Also slotting it and adding sets does not increase the -regen so the best you could hope for is for recharge time.
  5. The thing is, being a mainly solo player, that is what I am going for first. So in the end I couldn't really find room for any more slots for howling twilight. Also even if I did add slots to it the only sets available are stuns, slow movement, or AOE dmg. The -regen is auto-hit so if fighting an AV it is going to hit regardless. same with the team rez. I just don't think there is anything that is worth using up slots on it.
  6. Hey everyone, this is my first time posting on here. I just made a build for my lvl 50 fire/dark corr and wanted to get some advice. It is my first actual build on mid's. This corruptor wil lbe used mainly for tearing through large groups of enemies solo, thats why I didn't take inferno, also because I hate powers that cause endurance drops. But I do team from time to time so I took howling twilight incase of a team wipe or any team losses.

Any advice would be very helpful. I can take constructive criticism so don't be afraid to be picky. Also I didn't take any purple sets becasue they are just too pricey for me right now. Tried to keep it as cheap as possible, I have about 300M to work with.
