  1. In the end, I just trashed COH, COH Test and ejected my bootcamp disk.

Now, it's downloading the whole game again. Will do the same for my son's Mac and then we can play together again.

Oh I did that many many times. I've trashed, redownloaded and reinstalled NC launcher and pretty much everything I could find in the forums here, the FAQ, etc.

This just seems to be the big unsolved mystery. The machine is now upgraded to Lion so we'll see.
  3. The application starts to allocate RAM to itself, going form maybe 400 MB to eventually 2.3 MB. Then it crashes. Even though I have 11 GB free.
  4. Does anyone have any idea what to do about this? I don't always have the luxury of using Boot Camp.

No, this started before yesterday. I upgraded the RAM last night.

Also: today, the iMac has 16GB ram.

Lucky for me I have the PC version on bootcamp :-)

What's the exact location of your City of Heroes app (not the Launcher)?
    /Applications/City of Heroes.app

The default. Same folder is the launcher.
  9. I am having this exact same problem today.

Did anyone ever figure out what caused it? I tried everything suggested above. I have 16GB RAM coming today, so hopefully that will make it possible to allocate 80 bytes.

You folks can also disable them. Or at least severely limit the size. Images in sigs are a fluff feature that greatly reduces the signal-to-noise ratio in the forums.

Sigs are a major way people promote their mission arcs, guides and SG/VG's. Turning them off as a user means you miss out on all that. I don't want to miss that!

Please consider limits or turning off images in sigs.

    Thanks!
  11. Guy I know paints landscapes from various computer games. On this page you'll see Mercy Island and Port Oakes. I especially like the Mercy Island. There are also landscapes from other games.

  13. Yes, clipping is a distracting issue on the Egyptian Hat. It goes under the chest if the slider is over like 45%. And the cape in the back as well.

I've been bothered by the YOGA emote. The toon sits crossed legged, which is admittedly where most of us start, but since these are superhumans, full lotus posture would seem appropriate (especially with all the martial arts types running around):
