Rather than promote an SG for similar age ranges, why not try theming your SG to something that would attract the masses?

For example, The Femme Fatales...an SG just for female hero toons; The Elflings...an SG full of elves/eflings.

When I first created my SG, The GoEH, it was aimed to helping players within the community and organising events. Over the years we've attracted a wide variety of players of all ages and different likes.

You'll find a wider variety of ages with different themes, but all with something in common otherwise they wouldn't have joined your SG.

Currently it's work in progress. I have a lot of ideas for it and art work that I've done (ie: fonts/ layouts etc), but it's just getting the time to actually get it all on electronically.

Currently the site is made using a generic web page I purchsed from 123.com (pipex). I am officially a web page building noob now. The last time I REALLY did any webpage building was over 2 years ago using html (www.beaverboys.co.uk ...an old boy's uni hockey site...although passed the reigns to another member and it's been updated now).

In all truth, the knowledge I knew in regards to building a page has left me, in its place is a whole load of other junk relating to work instead!

If you're interested in modifying the site and possibly even giving it a forum, please be my guest! Will pass over the passwords and what not needed to access and edit it.

Is the SG Team up for the weekend? I've left a reminder on the SG MoTD with the usual time of 10:00 AM (BST) onwards.

Let us know who can and can't make it so we can decided whether to reschedule it or not.

Well its only a Wharfedale L1511W-A 15.4in HDTV/Monitor, perfect display now tho,(running full screen 1280/768) after a bit of a struggle with my ATI card

I was getting myself confused thinking you were talking about our Saturday team up! We should've updated the subject title ^__^

...aye, things are looking interesting for Champions Online. It's a toss up between PC or XBox 360 for me at the moment. If I upgrade my PC substantially, then will stay using my PC, if not, would most probably make the jump onto my 360.

A defiant Superteam on Champions Online would be good. Very unified. Unless the SG you're in is pretty substantial with a lot of members making the cross over, it may be hard to maintain.

Well last night (very early morning!), I left a reminder on the Message of the Day.

Last Saturday was unforseen. Had my parents not left their gas fire on before they went away for the weekend, I wouldn't have had to drive 3 hours back and forth just to switch it off!

With the growing news of Champions Online. I would like to know what people's thoughts are in to this.

The Hereafter
I've tried numerous other MMORPGs (Star Wars: Galaxies, Matrix Online, Auto Assualt, Guild Wars, Tabula Rasa (only beta)), but have continued to come back to CoH time and again.

Personally, if Champions Online gets off the ground and is as enthralling as CoH has been over the years, it may be the next generation MMORPG that I may go across to.


Supergroups
I've read through some of the Champions Online forum (signed up as Captain_Solaris) and already there are Supergroups popping up as we speak. Predominantly US based SGs, nevertheless quite a lot. Probably a bit too early I reckon.

If a large percentage of us make the leap across, would you like me to carry on the GoEH? I know there are numerous outside SG members and former GoEH members who have saif they'd be interested in joining. But initially would like the core of current GoEH leaders and members to be part of this.
